As a manager of a condo building, I deal with all sorts of vendors on a daily basis. I must say that from the start, the folks at Backyard Getaway were courteous, helpful and responsive. The design on our new waterfall was beautiful (thank you, Lisa) and all the unit owners (even the originally skeptical ones) think it's a wonderful addition to our property. Dave was on time, on budget, and even added a few upgrades for us at no charge. Dave and his crew were enjoyable to work with and we had quite a few laughs during the project. Highly recommended! I was so looking forward to working with Backyard Getaway. But I was extremely disappointed. I would not recommend. I spoke with Lisa and had a confirmed appointment with Dave for Thursday 16th 1-3pm. I waited from 1pm to 3 pm. No show No call. I called them at 3:30 that day left a message to see what happened. No return call. I left several messages after that to see what went so wrong. I did not a a single call back.

Couldn't ask for more! We are so pleased with the workmanship, professionalism, and they exceeded our expectations! We needed some work done on an outside patio, and they came to the rescue. It is picture perfect, they aim to please, and their pride shows. We will definitely recommend for any outside work, and will definitely call them again!

Backyard Getaway is an absolute delight to deal with. No other way to describe it. I have worked with them for both a personal (home) and a public pond (Hillsborough County Park), and the dedication, care and attention to detail that they showed on both projects was truly above and beyond expectations, which shows just how much pride they have in each & every one of their projects.

The turtle pond at Upper Tampa Bay Park (photos) took a lot of extra effort by Dave and crew, and all was taken care of professionally, with never even a hint of a complaint about our 'evolving specifications'. Pond, filter and pump all designed for easy maintenance required for County facility. Go visit to see his beautiful work!

Our backyard is now an oasis of peace and relaxation. We owe it all to Backyard Getaway! It did take a while to connect and get on their schedule, but once they took a look at our space, we knew that we were in good hands. Our backyard was a mess. We tore down the old garage and created a two-story garage apartment for family and visiting guests. We needed to rethink the entire outdoor space to create beauty and function for the main house and the new carriage house.

The crew at Backyard Getaway offered an initial drawing based on our thoughts, then worked with us to factor in new ideas along the way that fit our needs and our budgets. They delivered above and beyond what was promised on time and on budget. We are very grateful to the entire team.

Dave and his crew went above and beyond my expectations. They arrived on time, finished early and did more than what I expected. They even took the time to incorporate spare pavers and stones that I had piled up in a corner, into the design. It looks fantastic. Couldn't recommend Backyard Getaways more!
