Bully of a secretary / time management issues / no follow-up, no pricing sent by e-mail as she claimed to have sent / no phone call as she claimed she did / owner was 45 min late for an appointment I didn't want due to surgery two weeks after consultation. we were set to spend thousands of dollars! No one ever called to say he would be late. and no apology from either of them. Totally unprofessional.

The staff at Action are friendly and responsive, and the team that came to our house was did great work, and were efficient and respectful of our property and the fact that we were working from home. They cleaned up and made our yard look so well-cared for! They mulched around our plants as they were emerging and did a great job edging the beds that needed some better definition. Highly recommend!

I contacted Action Landscaping to provide sodding and some decorative work around my new home. I depended on Action for design suggestions and they came through with a wonderful design and also a considerable amount of sod was laid. After my initial contact, Tom was out here promptly and drew up a design with a quote in a timely matter. Tim was out here with his crew getting the job done - the entire process from start to finish was a great experience and I am very happy with the level of quality.

Bottom line: Action Landscaping did an outstanding job of helping us design and build a large 36'x50' retaining wall around our swimming pool. The communication, preparation, follow through, attention to detail and most of all Customer Service were all outstanding! The longer story: The wall is 40'x60' and because there is a large amount of slope, the wall is 8' high on the downhill wall.

The Action Team communicated very well throughout the project, answering all of our questions in a very timely manner and offered suggestions based on their extensive experience to help us better understand options that we could consider for our project. Prior to the start of the actual construction the Action team requested a meeting between us, the pool installation team and themselves so that all parties were in-sync on the major details and individual responsibilities.

The Action Team delivered equipment and supplies a couple days prior to beginning of the construction and actually dug the trench for the first layer of blocks so they could start early on a Monday with laying the blocks. The team built this wall using using 8Rockwood blocks and over 200 tons of clean rock fill. This first phase of installing the wall was completed in 3 days with daily temps in the mid 90s or higher.

Once the pool team installed the concrete around the pool, the Action team returned and added decorative trap rock between the edge of the sidewalk and the retaining wall. The final work by this team consisted of leveling the disturbed ground around the base of the wall, hauling in good topsoil, and seeding/straying the area. We are extremely please with the work that the Action Landscaping performed and highly recommended them.

Created a planting bed with beautiful blocks and natural stone in front landscape. Put lighting in also. Looks great! They also created a wall out of the same blocks and edging. Looks really good. Would recommend them to anyone. Dealing with owners, office staff and workers were a delight. Listened and gave suggestions which is what we needed. Cleaned up areas affected - almost like they weren't even here. Thank you Action Landscaping!

Jason was so great to work with. I gave him a budget to work with and my needs/wants and he made sure to squeeze every bit of it into the budget. They worked really hard all day and the final product is amazing. It was mostly clean up, replacement of ugly bushes, a lot of moving/adding edging, etc. but it looks so much better! I would highly recommend Action Landscaping for any project, big or small.

The team from action landscaping did an excellent job replacing our retaining walls and steps for our pool and landing area. They were on time, professional, polite, and made sure we were satisfied with every step of the job they did. It looks beautiful. We get compliments from our neighbors all the time on how good everything looks. We have already recommended them to family and friends.

I've never seen a crew work harder or more efficient with any project of any type I have been involved in. Just amazed at what they accomplished so quickly and at the highest level of quality. Left no mess and cleaned up everything like they were never there and took great care to ensure the lawn was not damaged. Excellent experience from start to finish. Tim's design was fantastic (front yard landscape work including accent lighting).

Tom and his crew did an outstanding job! We contacted Action Landscaping to come out for a water issue on the side of out house. They built up the dirt along my foundation the dug a swale to channel the water away from our house into the yard. Using stone instead of much was the best choice for a maintenance free area along our home. Very professional and a hard working crew. I would recommend Action Landscaping to anyone and will be calling them for future work.
