We hired Between The Edges Lawn Care & Landscaping to assist us with our lawn. Between The Edges Lawn Care & Landscaping was helpful and communicative. From the initial contact, to the quote, to the completion, they were extremely quick and reliable. Very professional and left no trace of their presence. I would strongly recommend Between The Edges Lawn Care & Landscaping for excellent service and value!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. We have experienced constant problems. It's seems over this past summer they're quality and initiative to ensure a quality job consistently has greatly wained. We have had issues almost every week they come. My son gets skin irritation from the left grass so we asked it to be bagged. We were told, "No problem!". That has been an ongoing issue.

As well as the issues included below. These highlight; poor cutting / bagging, gapped up and missed spots not cut, hedges neglected, poor edging / weed eating. Not to mention if you have any solar yard lights, you can plan on replacing most of them, often. I have had hopes that their service would again rise to it's previous level of diligence. As it stands at the moment, they are not trending that direction.

Recently we had a retaining wall Installed, sod put down and rock. I wish I could give this business 10 stars. The wall is perfect and so functional. The sod is growing perfectly and the rock is just beautiful. I would 100% recommend Between the Edges! Jeremy and his crew went way above and beyond for us. They were professional, courteous, kind and helpful.

We did have to wait a bit to have the work done and I'm completely ok with that. I would much rather wait on an A++++ company to do this work versus someone who could come right out. We were told the time line and are just beyond thrilled with Between the Edges and the entire company! We have very high expectations and they exceeded them! Thank you again for the excellent work! Love that we have such a great local company to support!

Our backyard is beautiful! Between the Edges Lawn Care did an awesome job installing a new irrigation system and installing sod in our backyard. Always arrived on time and on schedule. Too much detail in telling thus experience with these people. If only their work looked like the photos they present as theirs, I would be writing a positive review. To make it short. Things that happened and things they won't make right. 1. Jeremy was devious in his quote. Didn't differentiate in plant and cost to plant after I mentioned how much another co charged, because BTE charges as much or more. 2. Misled me leading me to believe I would have pink flowers on half of shrubs in Winter, yellow on a Summer bloomer. NOT TRUE.

Yellow not a flower and one small pink flower all year. Two of those sasanquas died. 3. Sod put down was obviously grown on weeded dirt. Weeds all over yard and TALL, some looking like small trees with wood srems, as tall as 3 ft.and very quickly when weather was getting warm. 4. Because we were calling BTE to come and see the yard, to fix it, we allowed them to grow over one month in order for them to see how the yard was full if weeds, some we had never seen anywhere. We, before we reached our 70s had sodded 4 yards ourselves, and we only had beautiful grass, no weeds.

Right now, our front yard does not have the very tall weeds. We have some spots of clover, but Chris came out today and immediately said the weeds were because we were not caring for the back lawn they had done, that we should have cut it over the last month. We are not ignorant enough to believe we would not have this abundance if weeds had we only cut the weeds. WHAT CHRIS SEEMED TO FORGET IS THAT HE HAD COME OUT BEFORE AND TOLD US WE HAD SOMETHING IN THE SOIK CAUSING THIS. HE ALSO FORGOT HE TOLD US WE NEEDED TO PUT A PREEMERGENCE FOR THE WEEDS IN THE SHRUBS.THEY PUT NOTING DOWN TO DETER WEEDS WHEN THEY ORIG DID THE WORK. BUT THAT DAY HE SAID HE WOULD DO IT FOR $350.?

Something that should have been done to start with. He also offered to come out 3 x a year for $55 each time and that would give us pretty grass. Shouldn't it have been pretty to start with once the weather was warmer? Another thing.when my sprinkler would not work to test to make sure their rough tilling of the yard hadn't broken it, the battery appeared to be dead, they said.

Someone either called the office or pretended to in order to get a price. $200.00 they quoted me. I declined. The next day I went out and opened the battery box and found 2 AA batteries.for $200.00? Bottom line, Chris came out today, after the appt was changed for the 3rd time. He said it was our fault. Was doing nothing about it so my husband told him they were getting nowhere and to leave.

I KNOW THAT HES GOING TO COME BACK WITH SOME EXCUSE THAT SOUNDS VALID, BUT DONT BELIEVE IT.HE DID THAT TO THE OTHERS WITH A NEGATIVE REVIEW AND HE WILL DO IT EVERY TIME THINKING HE WILL BE BELIEVED. THEY MAY HAVE DONE RIGHT BY SOME BUT YOUbDONT KNOW IF YOU'LL GET LUCKY OR GET TAKEN LIKE WE DID. ONE MORE. I WANTED TO ADD 5 MORE BUSHES IN TGE FRONT.

I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD NOT COME BACK FOR UNDER $2500.00. THIS WAS AFTER I HAD JUST PAID OVER $3000.00 for the weeds they put down in my back yard. I SINCERELY HOPE YOU DONT FALL FOR WHATEVER TALLTALE OR EXCUSE HE POSTS HERE. Yes, he also said that anything we wanted done was not in the contract. So we were supposed to know how bad the work would turn out and do you think he would have put in the contract if the yard fills WITH weeds and SHRUBS DIE, THE CONTRACTOR WILL MAKE GOOD. NO, I DONT THINK SO. NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS WITHOUT COVERING IN A CONTRACT ANYTHING THAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG EVEN IF YOU THINK IT WON'T. AGAIN, DON'T LET ANY EXCUSE WRITTEN HERE BY THEM SWAY YOU BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT TRUTHFUL. WHEN THEY TRY TO GET $200.00 for 2 AA batteries, that's thievery, taking advantage of an older person because they think we aren't sharp enough to catch it. Nor did Chris apparently recall what he told us last year or even that he was here.but I remember everything he said AND DENIED THIS YEAR.

Between The Edges installed a retaining wall on one end of our pool, along with sod, a fire pit, and Palmetto trees. We couldn't be happier with their work. Because of the weather and BTE having other jobs ahead of ours, the start date on the work on our backyard was delayed a few weeks. I add that only because if you're looking for landscaping work and consider BTE, know they are in demand so you should contact them sooner rather than later. For us, it was worth waiting for BTE. I'd hire them again and recommend them to friends and family.

We were having massive flooding against our house during rainstorms from poor land grading in a terraced neighborhood. We had five companies come out to bid on the project, and one company stood out. The manager at Between the Edges, Chris, was very genuine and was clever with his plan to solve the issue. Their team exceeded all we could of hoped for and more.

Their precision even in the smallest detail was incredible. Having this issue resolved with a working retaining wall, has brought so much peace of mind to us. When it rains, we know that our house foundation will not flood (finally)! This business has amazing attention to detail, incredible work ethic, and are simply a pleasure to work with. They can do it all when it comes to your yard, and we highly recommend them. They work tidy and smart. They really are everything you want in a landscaping company.

We wanted Asiatic Jasmine planted in our sloped yard and the sprinkler system repaired. We were told soil needed to be brought in for the plants to grow in. A truck load of rocky sand was added to our yard, the plants were planted but not watered in and then a week later the newly planted yard was dug up to fix the irrigation system. Everything since has been a nightmare. the sand was like concrete and made it very difficult for the plants to grow.

Every rain and watering caused the sand to wash away, collecting at the bottom of the driveway and in the drainage system at the front of the house. This resulted in the basement flooding and a retaining wall had to be built up to stop the build up of sand at the bottom of the driveway. An entire kiddie pool full of sand had to be removed from the driveway. This has been the worst experience with a contractor I have ever had.

Between the Edges leveled our sloped yard and installed a sprinkler system and sod. Several years later, the sprinklers work great and our lawn is still lovely. They also maintained their quote and met deadlines. I have recommended them before and will continue to do so!

I am unable to comment on their lawn care because they were not able to keep a appointment with me. I contacted them for a lawn care appointment. The lady I spoke to on the phone scheduled an appointment and said that someone will be in touch after they review my yard by that evening. Two days passed and I called to check on the status of using their service.

She stated that the professional must have not turned in the paperwork. She would speak to him and send me the quote later that day. I have not heard anything since. I have decided not to use or recommend base on that continuous incident. Very unprofessional.

The landscaping crew that this company sent was terrible and I gave them 1 star for the following reasons: 1. They postponed my job twice and then showed up without notice. 2. They covered up all my termite monitoring stations with landscape fabric and mulch. Said they'd fix it, never showed up. I had to do it myself. 3. I hated the edging they installed so I asked them to remove it. Said they'd take care of it, never showed up. 4.

I ripped up the edging myself and stacked it in my garage. Asked them to come and get it. Said they'd take care of it. Never showed up and it's still in my garage. 5. As I was digging out all my termite stations I noticed they had done a pretty sloppy job with the landscaping fabric. 6. Finally, I just noticed today that they had completely covered up one of my sprinkler heads with landscaping fabric and mulch.

I do not recommend BTE for any landscaping job. Update 12/8/2017: I originally signed a contract to use BTE to care for my lawn (mow, trim, etc.) and that crew has done an outstanding job so I would definitely recommend BTE for lawn care and I'm adding 2 extra stars for that.

I would give this company ZERO stars if possible. I contacted them a week in advance( since I am from out of state) to meet me and give an estimate. The appointment had been scheduled for DAYS. I specifically expressed that I would only be in town a few days. The receptionist while very polite and kind called me 10mins before said appointment and asked to move it to a different time.

So I waited till the next time and received another phone call that they wouldn't be there then either. They asked to move it to another day and when I explained I would not be in town I was responded to rudely. If you are going to conduct business in this manner I do not understand how you can grow and obtain new clients when you aren't available to meet with them. Only when it's convenient to you.

There are few times that I write that a business is close to perfect. That the boss, workers and quality are simply better than any other out there ( or at least Augusta). But Jeremy and his crew were spot on! The estimate was almost perfect and Jeremy's guidance and suggestions were met every time with an accurate cost. He knows his job. My work was a retaining wall in my backyard that needed a 5' height and a whole lot of dirt to make a usable area for my family.

His crew was always on time, courteous and very respectful of my wishes. They made a point to clean up at the end of every work day, and when they were done it my driveway looked cleaner than before they started. Other contractors came in a bit cheaper, but the quality and fact that they are licensed to do retaining walls of a great height made all the difference in the end. You get what you pay for, and these guys are simply the best.
