Often times it is hard to tell what we did to transform a customer's landscape because when we are finished, it looks like the yard has always looked this complete. As you look through the before & after photos, keep in mind that these home owners didn't know exactly what they wanted to do. They just knew they wanted to do something to improve their property.
Here in CT, we offer excavation and trucking services. There is a wide variety of work that falls under this excavation services. They delivered the wrong material to our driveway. We stopped the load as soon as we saw it was wrong. They told us they do not have a invoice or any paperwork which is why this happened. They insisted everything had to be verbal. They have taken advantage of a veteran that is over 60 years old. They are keeping the rest of the load and we are paying for it.
There was no resolving the issue. All the owner did was blame us rather than resolve the issue. We asked that he research the matter and get back to us and he didn't. He also held up our project 5 days because he did not work with us. Very poor customer service.

Working with Daren and the team at Birch Mountain was refreshing. They were highly consultative and offered ideas and suggestions that we implemented into our project. It's great to hire actual craftsmen who take pride in their work - the quality is evident. Have received compliments from neighbors on the results of the project. You will develop good rapport with Daren and his team and be very pleased with the results.

Spoke with owner Daren directly. He gave expert advice on the project and was 150% right about his recommendation. I couldn't envision things at first, but after the project was complete I realized he was spot on. Everyone who walks by our house as well as family members compliment the redesign of the landscape. Highly recommend the landscape design services if you want the project done right the first time!

Highly recommend this landscape company for your next landscape project. My neighbor got screened topsoil from them and their new lawn looked great. After that I had to stop by to check out the display including the patio, walks and walls. It was worth stopping in I have to say. I hadn't considered the boulder walls for around my upcoming pool landscape but after seeing it in person the boulders are my favorite.

Great customer service from start to finish at reasonable prices! My family is so happy with our new stone wall and paver patio that we are even using into the fall months to gather the family around the fire pit! The updated landscaping design around our pool make us feel like we are on vacation at home. Thank you Daren, and all the employees from Birch Mountain Earthworks for such a fantastic job!

After visiting the new paver display at Birch Mountain Earthworks this spring we were inspired to have them come back out to do more work in our yard again. We had such a pleasurable experience working with them the last time around we knew we were in excellent hands. As usual our kids loved watching all the shiny trucks come and friendly guys transform our old deck area into an amazing new patio with a boulder fire pit and sitting wall.
The patio is so much more inviting than the deck we had that we find ourselves out there all the time now. We are already planning out our next project with Birch Mountain. I can't wait to get a water fall with a stream and the large stone bridge just like the one in the display. These guys by far develop the most creative landscapes I have ever seen! See you next year!
