Hi, my name is Chris Johns and I am the owner of Carolina Horticultural Services based in Rock Hill, SC. I have been in the landscaping industry for 15 years. I attended Auburn University and received my BA degree in Landscape Horticulture, which specializes in the design, installation, & maintaining of landscapes.
I enjoy the residential and local commercial sectors because of the ability to develop good client relationships, some of which I have had for over a decade. I owned and operated a landscape company in Auburn, AL before moving to Rock Hill. I started the company while I was a freshmen in college and developed and grew the business through doing good work and letting that be my marketing. I developed many long lasting business relationships during that time.
I hope to continue building such relationships in Rock Hill and the surrounding areas in the future. I would enjoy getting the chance to work with you as a client and share the knowledge I have learned over these past twelve years to give you a quality landscape.

I found Chris's ad on Craigs list and it stood out to me because he had graduated from horitcultural school at Alabama. I thought if he went to school he should know what he was talking about. When he came to the house I was so impressed with him as an individual that I felt he knew what he was doing. I needed my back yard sodded and his price was very fair and he did it in a very timely manner.
It has been almost 2 months and the yard is the best it has ever been. He was very detailed with how I was to take care of the sod when he left. I would definitely recommed him to anyone that needs their yard done in a very professional way. He is wonderful.

We wanted to put a layer of fresh mulch on top of existing mulch to improve its tired look. We considered several companies over several weeks and then I saw you and your vehicle working in a neighbor?s garden. You quickly responded to my request for an estimate and the estimate arrived the day after you measured up. We agreed that you would do the job, which was done both quickly and professionally.

Initially I noticed our neighbors had changed their lawn service company which we had both used for years. They said they were very pleased with Carolina Horticultural Services so I thought I would touch base with Chris and see what he had to offer. We talked about the services he typically provided and the charges which I thought were very fair. I mentioned that I had wanted to improve the curb appeal but had run out of ideas regarding that.
