I agree that doing business in English is extremely helpful there were things about this firm that were left incomplete. I had several transactions with one partner in the firm. There were occasions when they did not show up for court dates and I had personal witnesses there at the court to attest for me. In addition, when the case was completed. I asked for paperwork proving the judge approved my case and after multiple attempts over the course of a year I was finally told I could go online and get it from the Civil Registry myself. Update: After this review, I did receive a copy of the divorce document I requested.

We were married last week my Marielos. It was a wonderful experience. She was very helpful and friendly. The ceremony was fun and exactly what we asked for. The paperwork was simple and easy and we also had a nice celebration after the wedding.

I hired Marielos Melendez because the immigration department was very slow. She fixed everything with them in record time and I now have my residency. She is very professional and speaks perfect English.

Very unprofessional and irresponsible. It all looks great untill you started the procedure and payed. I can not recall the times I called and emailed and never gotten an answer. It took over 2 years before my ex was even notified and it was mainly due to mistakes they made. At a certain moment I decided in despair to go to the court myself to ask what was going on.

I found out that several months before the courts requested a translation of all the documents, they had send several reminders and finaly send a deadline date wich was about a week later than the time I found out. If the court would not have gotten a reaction the case would be closed, this was after 1,5 years of waiting only on the notification of the case and trying to find out from this lawyer what was going on. 8 months after the notification I found out she should have asked the court to continue the case, she has never replied in the meantime. Very dissapointed in this lady who I gave all my trust in the beginning

We used Law Firm Melendez & Bonilla for residency for my family. The application was very smooth and we did not have any problems. She followed our status in the immigration department and kept us informed all of the way. Very nice.

Very unprofessional. They canceled the appointment 30 minutes before of it. The appointment was to certify the signature of a person that would be in Costa Rica only for two days and getting that signature certified was very important for me. I don't recommend them.
