Country Farms

While on my way home from a doctors appointment I stopped at "Country Farms Garden Center" in Greensburg, PA, for the first time. It looked like an interesting place that had a lot flowers on display and many bird baths and yard art pieces. Our birdbath at home had pretty much seen its day and was showing signs of its age so I took a look at what Country Farms Garden Center had to offer.

I was amazed at the variety of unique bird baths that they had available. There must have been over 20 different styles to see. I found one that was really unique that had a flower petal design for the top. The price was really reasonable and less than other bird baths I had seen at some of the big box garden center stores. I then saw some amazing gazing balls they had in stock and found one with multicolored glass flowers on it.

Then I found a unique concrete base for it and the two pieces really went well. These new additions to our backyard flower garden really enhanced the look of it. I highly recommend the store for a great yard decorations, flowers and really good prices!

These flowers have been so he's all season long. We plan on buying all our flowers there from now on. Thank you so much

I have purchased a red bud tree and about 10 other shrubs and perennials from country farms and everyone has grown to be a beautiful addition to my yard and garden. If you are looking for top quality I'd say that is where to go.

Great topsoil. I've had soil delivered from other local landscaping supplies and found it full of weed seeds that I had to fight all season. But the topsoil (I think I got mushroom compost, or a mix) from Country Farms is great and my garden thrives on it this year.

We had a patio and fire pit installed. The installers did a wonderful job. They were very polite and took the time to do the job right. I have no complaints. Tim and the guys were a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. We plan to have another project next year and are looking forward to working with them again.

We bought a house with 72 arborvitae surrounding the property. We had some work done by another vendor who damaged some of them. We contacted Country Farms to replace some of them, remove a dead tree, and patch/repair some bare lawn areas. We first struggled with getting on the schedule, even after they cashed our deposit check. We gave them the benefit of doubt due to covid, but still felt the lack of communication was unprofessional. Months later, the day finally came and the crew that was here seemed very knowledge. However, I asked to that the largest tree planted in the front (for privacy) and the smallest tree planted in the back yard.

The crew member that I spoke with even commented that this made sense to have the largest tree in the front. When I went out to check they had it backwards. I asked if it was POSSIBLE to move them or if it would damage the trees. He told me it was fine and he moved them. After they left we found quite a few bare patches in the yard that should have been patched and were not.

Within a day or so we had heavy rain and found one of the "moved" trees laying on the ground and we could not stand it back up. I called and they sent someone out to look at it. They told me it was MY fault for having it moved, and the roots were now too damaged to support the tree. The tree is now dead. We had the owner come back to see what we were not satisfied with.

He agreed to split the cost of a new tree with us (I feel it should have been replaced since I specifically asked his employee if it was possible before having it moved). That was several weeks ago and they have never come back or followed up with us. We also have an insane amount of weeds and dead patches in the areas where they were have patched or repaired the grass, and it is ONLY in the areas where they put down seed.

I believe the seed they used, or the straw they covered it with, were substandard and full of weeds. In summary, poor communication, doesn't stand behind their work, cheap/substandard products.

Today was the first time I have ever been to Country Farms and I was extremely impressed. Shout out to Ed in sales for understanding my need, Logan for assisting, Nick for signing me up for the rewards program and Mikey out in the yard who helped up load our order. All were professional, personable and pleasant. Great job guys!

The men working on our back hillside were very hard workers and did an excellent job. They completed our job and made sure that everything was cleaned up. They even cleaned the road in front of our house! We then decided we wanted a brick border and were thrilled that they were able to install it very quickly. We highly recommend Country Farms.

We didn't go to the store, but I look forward to it. We ordered topsoil. The person who answered my call was very nice and helpful. She signed me up for a rewards card. They delivered it the next day.

Very nice place with exceptionally nice staff! This place hustles! Although they didn't have a large selection of what we were looking for we actually were able to eventually find 1.but as far as everything else lawn, garden, patio, fireplace, outdoor living.this place has SCADS of inventory! Lots of displays so you can see what finished projects will look & feel like. The place was very clean & just looked so pretty w/ all the plants & flowers on display! I highly recommend this place.
