Daichi Landscape Daichi means "great land" in Japanese, and Daichi Landscape owner Jim Robinson strives to integrate all the elements of his landscapes into a cohesive whole. We believe each element of a garden, from the smallest pebble to the largest tree has the potential to harmonize with all the other elements. The result can be striking and rejuvenating. Daichi Landscape provides landscape design and landscape construction anywhere in Eugene, Oregon, the Pacific Northwest, and beyond. The primary goal of Daichi Landscape is to create oases that refresh and revitalize people's lives by providing direct connections to nature's essential elements.
Services
Daichi Landscape was established by myself, Jim Robinson in 1996. The primary goal of our company is to treat landscape design and construction as art. We specialize in the design and construction of water features, stonework and the placement of sculpture. I have worked in the landscape industry since 1975.
Refresh and revitalize your life. Our designs are inspired by great gardens of Japan and around the world and especially by Jim's experiences working with Mr. Hoichi Kurisu, the primary mentor of his career. We are based in Eugene, Oregon, and we also work throughout the Pacific Northwest and internationally. We have worked throughout the United States and as far away as the Caymans and Virgin Islands.
We offer Japanese inspired landscape design services from our Eugene, Oregon-based studio that attempts to manifest our clients' vision in ways that surpass their expectations. We accomplish this through personal interviews and site study work. We welcome questions and input throughout the design and construction of your project.
Whereas landscape design conceptualizes your garden or backyard retreat, landscape construction involves creating the landscape, including earth-moving and reshaping, if necessary. Our aesthetic is focused on integrating the elements of nature into your projects. We strive to make each project unique, to create uban oases where people can feel revitalized through a direct connection to nature's essential elements.
