From their help at planning the project, picking out the plants, and the actual hard scape and plantings, everything was as promised and I could not be happier. Unfortunately, the experience with this business was very disappointing. We had contacted Ramsdell Landscaping a year prior to the desired start date for our home landscaping project in hopes we would make it on their schedule for the following spring. An employee came to our home to discuss the project and provided us with a quote where we signed an agreement and agreed upon a start date.

One week prior to the project we confirmed start time and details. On the day we were scheduled to begin no one arrived at our home. We called the main office to figure out what the problem was, but we were provided zero information and told we were not on their schedule. We tried contacting via email later in the day and received a cryptic, single response stating the company "could not move forward with the project". Further emails were not answered and phone calls were ignored.

I can only conclude that another larger project took precedence over our home landscaping job so we were merely dropped. This late in the season we were left unable to reschedule with another landscaping company, which resulted in a delay for the installation of our pool and our sons's swing set. To say we were a disappointed family is an understatement.

After numerous phone calls to various companies, Patrick's Landscaping in Biddeford was willing to work with us very last minute and prepared us for our deliveries. We are extremely thankful for their help and highly recommend them. The service received from Ramsdell was upsetting and quite frankly appalling. I will never recommend them to anyone.

I had landscaping done in front of my cottage in Wells, ME and Ramsdell did a great job. Aneta was especially helpful and made the entire experience pleasant and efficient. They were responsive and helpful. The guys that did the work were excellent and did a great job! Pricing could be a bit more competitive, but overall, quality of work and customer service was excellent.

Very efficient landscapers did a wonderful job cleaning up our yards and overgrown, weedy sections. Great job, very professional. A pleasant supervisor furnished us with a quote and the workers worked diligently!

Everyone was great - from our first contact with Aneta (our landscape designer) through the install of our driveway - everyone was prompt, professional and very friendly. Aneta listened to everything we wanted, made great recommendations, and designed a brick pattern for our driveway that gets rave reviews from the neighbors. She and the team handled several change orders with ease during the install. Just a great experience all around - highly recommended!

Were looking to get a lawn started on my parents new build which didn't take. he came in, did everything! when i mean everything - my parents are elderly, have a large space/lawn, without a sprinkler system. he came & even set up the hoses/sprinklers so all my parents had to do was turn the knob to water their lawn. he was always coming back to check on the progress, make sure the lawn was taking/growing. couldn't recommend these folks enough. If we could give them 100 stars we would! Prices are very reasonable as well, always less than what we'd expect.

Aneta was great to work with providing a good estimate and adjusting work as needed. The guys who came to do the project were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions on utilizing old material to make the project even better rather than wasting it. Would definitely recommend!

I have used Ramsdell landscaping and design for the past 20 years +. They have always serviced my lawn needs. They recently installed a patio and fire pit and did a outstanding job. Two years ago the designed and install a basket ball court for my grandchildren from soup to nuts. Deans designer Anetta worked with us each time and did a outstanding job. Ramsdell helped us design and choose appropriate hardscape materials for our new backyard patio area - they went above and beyond when needed to help us get our firepit installed and the project looks fantastic. This was done at the same time that the adjoining sunroom and screen porch were being built - they worked to accommodate our contractor's schedule so that no one involved in the project was held up. We are very happy with the project and highly recommend them.

We hired Ramsdell Landscaping for our outdoor transformation and I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. Aneta and her team were responsive to every request in a timely manner. They were respectful and professional whenever they were at our home and cleaned up before they left every day. It was a project that took months. They worked with the gas company, the electricians and even the town to make our vision come true. I recommend them highly if you are considering a backyard makeover.
