Everyone is busy these days. We all rush to and from work, family functions, and other obligations - which leaves very little time or energy for maintaining the yard. Besides, who wants to spend the warm, sunny days of summer performing chores like weeding, raking, mowing, and trimming? We've been maintaining the lawns and landscapes of commercial and residential properties all over southeast Michigan since 1983. Our lawn mowing service includes cutting, trimming around fixtures, trees, and beds, blowing clippings into grass, and edging the lawn.

I used to recommend DeClark's to my family and friends and on FB neighborhood sites to perfect strangers looking for good service. However, after being a long time customer (over 5+ years) of weekly lawn service, weeding, etc. this year they dropped me as a customer without any notification. Typically, they send a notification that they will be continuing your service unless you call and cancel.
This year I thought I overlooked the letter. Called them to find out and was told they had to drop customers due to lack of employees. While I can understand the issue they are having - they did not deal with this in a professional manner. They should have sent a letter/e-mail/text (anything) to let me know to look for another service provider. And when I called to find out, they were aggravated and rude and told me that if I wanted to be a customer I should let them know if I know anyone that wants to work there. I am completely disappointed with their lack of empathy towards their loyal customers.

Worked with Declark's for front yard landscaping and they did a fantastic job. They wrapped up in one day, the mess was cleaned up and were friendly and upfront about how to take care of our plants. We had them come out today for more work we were so happy with the first bit. Looking forward to working with them for our backyard, too! Very friendly people, a family owned business which I always love supporting.

This year we are using DeClark's for lawn cutting and fertilization services. Our lawn is much better than it was when we used other companies. Their work is excellent. I actually called them today to thank them for taking such excellent care of our property. What other service providers have inspired you to call and thank them? Probably not many.
