Dekker Perich Sabatini

Art Dekker Architects was founded in 1959 by the father of current principal Dale Dekker. In 1998, Dekker/Perich & Associates and Holmes/Sabatini & Associates merged to become Dekker/Perich/Sabatini, which brought together multiple specialties under one roof. It was a revolutionary group of people suited to solving more complex challenges.

Well-designed spaces rely on the strength of their interconnected systems. Neglecting any one of those systems can jeopardize an entire community. We know that a place's power to help heal, educate, and grow a community lies in the ability of its creators to work interdependently across disciplines and industries.

When Dale Dekker, Steve Perich, and Bill Sabatini formed Dekker/Perich/Sabatini, they focused on their individual strengths and complementary skills to create places that stimulate our communities. Today, we continue to promote each individual's strengths in order to help each other succeed and create landmark projects.

Long before we envision what a building will look like, we dive deep into why we are designing it in the first place. Who will use it? For what purpose? Where will it be located? Who are its neighbors? What fears surround it? Integrating our own expertise across disciplines with insights from clients and the community, we develop a deeper understanding of the needs of the people the project will affect.
