As much as I would like to recommend this business, I just can't. I showed Spencer a picture of what I wanted and he seemed to know what he was talking about but the end result was far from what I wanted. With the quote, I definitely expected a lot more. I wish they would've consulted me before they put all the plants into the ground in case I wanted to make any changes to the final plant bed.

I wish he wrote down what I wanted because he just mulched everything where I didn't want mulch. They have a plant that is completely blocking one of the main sprinklers and when I asked him what can be done, he just recommended that I get a taller sprinkler. The plant is way too tall for any sprinkler. I was disappointed to say the least. One of the plants that he also installed has three big branches and they are hanging over and are either going to grow out sideways or die. Spencer and his crew came and worked 3 hours and were very nice and professional.

I give them that. If I paid half of what I did for the work that was performed, I would be okay but for what I paid. Now I have to re-do everything myself. On top of that, they only accept checks for their jobs which are over $$$$ written out to his name, not his business name which is a bit odd. To each their own.

Spencer at Detail Landscape has done multiple landscaping jobs, tree installs and more for my personal home and my investment properties. I have recommended him to family and friends. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him and his team. Very punctual and professional.
