Do It Yourself Landscaping is a design concept that was developed and trademarked in 1986 by Marilu Wickre. She became interested in horticulture and landscape design in her early years and went on to study under the tutelage of the respected Seattle horticulturist, Toke Toyoshima.
Some furry friends you may not want eating your plants. Plants that are deer-resistant are a must in spring. Birds are a wonderful sight and sound in the yard. Seed and suet feeders are always a draw. Also bird baths and houses add a nice touch and encourage their presence. Raccoons and squirrels can be a problem but with water motion sensors and hot wires we can keep them at bay without harm. You can have a yard that both kids and dogs can play in without being told to be careful. It all comes down to plant selection and placement.

0 stars if that was an option. Was overcharged for a part in store. Also they will not honor their own online pricing.

Angelos was a great landscape supplier until they sold to site one. Too many pointless changes in the way they operate business, just another corporation buying up mom and pop businesses and ruining them.

A very helpful business to work with. I am someone from out of the area and was treated as if I was a regular respected client. The sales staff and yardworkers were friendly and helpful. Quality staff and quality products insure that I will use their services in the future

I actually was at D'angelo's's landscaping company and it was the first time I've ever been there and I have to say that I will go back to get more materials they have so many things that you couldn't even imagine their staff was super friendly they were very helpful and completely honest about certain things so I highly recommend buying things from this place.

I bought a bunch of aluminum edging at the Wixom location last year. My experience was fine then. So, I was a little surprised by all the negative reviews when I looked up directions to go pick up some more edging to finish the project today. Boy, aren't they all right. I paid for the edging and went to the loading area as usual. The guy there helped me load them on the roof of my SUV like last time.

Some where half way, a lady came out and said she can't let me leave like this. I calmly explained to her that I tied the edging down like last time. They made it to my house without a problem. I showed her how I'm going to do it. She said, "you're going to have to sign a waiver because I don't want any lawsuit from property damage." Again, calmly I said, "Yes.

I'll sign it." Then she said, "Actually, get you stuff out of my property and go tie it somewhere else." The "stuff" that I bought are ten 16' aluminum edging. I'm a 5'3" and clearly need help with the loading. Her response was completely rude and uncalled for. If we were arguing, I can see why she would react that way. I have been nothing but calm and reasonable.

As much as I love to support local businesses, I can't support this type of practice. There is zero customer service. If you're thinking of coming here, you might want to look else where. Once they get your money, they don't care to help you any more.

Worst Customer Service Ever! I ordered 5 yards compost delivery and the customer service lady on the phone gave me a price of $19/Yard. When my credit card was charged after the delivery, they charged $24/Yard. When I called them back, they told me that the price went up in their system. I told them that was not the price I was given and asked for a refund.

The customer service lady asked me to call back and talk to the manager. I called back a couple of times and finally talked to the manager lady and she pretty much told me that I must have placed the order after the price went up and I am lying about the price. They pretty much called me a liar and was not willing to accept their mistake. Stay away from this place! I know they are huge and don't care about small household customers, but I wasn't expecting to be called a Liar!

Wow. We were customers a few years ago for a huge patio project and had a totally different experience than I had there recently. I could not believe I was even in the same place! I went in with a simple few questions about purchasing a product for our current patio. I was treated so rudely and when I asked if they carried the product, the salesman replied, " you can just go look around outside and see for yourself what we have and decide".

He could barely muster up enough ambition to look at me while talking. There was no inkling that he could possibly care to assist me in buying a product we had purchased there before. The poor older gentleman customer next to me! Again, just wow. An older male salesperson was talking down to him and making him feel so confused. I think we both wanted to cry and just get the heck out of there. ( which I didn't found the product elsewhere! ) My husband couldn't even believe I went in there again, as his experience in the summer last year was less than stellar. Needless to say, we will not return.

Perhaps when we see the " Help Wanted" sign near the entryway down, we will pop in to see if a new crew cares to acknowledge customers. Until then, there seem to be plenty of other options for our business.

We just finished a project involving pavers and a new deck. How nice was it to have help from their staff while making our selections.they provided us with samples to take home and a huge inventory of products to view in person rather than try to select out of a book. They had everything we needed for our project - Happy Customer!

I've never had any problems with Angelo's. They do most of their work with contractors, so they are used to people who know what they are doing, but I've never had any problems. Had 10 yards of top soil delivered today, and the driver was as nice as could be, even helped move things off my driveway before delivery.
