Butt or push edges and ends together, without stretching. Avoid gaps and overlays. Stagger the joints in each row in a brick-like pattern, using a large, sharp knife to trim corners etc. After the grass is established and rooted, give your lawn one deep irrigation per week. This may need to be in increased during extreme heat and drought times or decreased in rainy periods.
Watering is dependent on several factors including time of year, recent and current rainfall, and type of irrigation/water method being applied. Generally you want to keep new grass saturated for at least two weeks. The idea is to keep the soil under the sod moist as well as the soil that comes with each sod piece.
Any pressure on newly sodded grass can make micro tears in the forming roots which delays development. Try to keep foot traffic at a minimum for at least 4 weeks. By week three if you have a fast growing variety of sod it will look like an established lawn however these looks are deceiving. Hold off on mowing as long as possible and at least until the uniform blade length reaches 3 1/2 inches.
When installing a new lawn, it's good to apply a half inch of Grade A compost over your existing soil. Avoid seasonal fertilizers that are high in nitrogen which may stress your lawn while it's trying to establish. All sod delivered by Eco Mulch & Sod is fertilized and treated for weeds prior to harvest.
Sod is ready for harvesting between 12 and 18 months after it's planted, depending on the variety of grass. The extended growing period gives the grass enough time to form strong root systems which won't break apart. It's harvested using a tractor that cuts the sod at the desired thickness and width.

I realize covid has complicated things. But does that mean there is no customer service or politeness. Greatly disappointed been using eco mulch for a decade what has happened. I guess your so grand you can afford to loose customers. DROVE out there today the guy working was on the phone even though he could care less that I was standing there I waited.
And even though he could answer a question with out being condescending I stayed.but he didn't care about my loyalty or my gas or my time. He had no desire to help at all even sent me a paying customer awY. Told me to order online. didn't doesn't realize if Noone come in personae won't have a job. but I decided to not use eco mulch again instead I called the company Hamilton and ordered free wood chips and I'll run it through my mulcher and make my own.lazy worthless MAN?

We ordered four yards and asked for it to be delivered to our cleared driveway, but the driver dumped it in the middle of the sidewalk! What bothered us most was when we called to ask why it was dumped on a public sidewalk? The driver had the nerve to say that "we requested it there" management later sent apologies.
