Fairview Gardens

I do not live in the area, but used Fairview Gardens for a funeral/memorial flower delivery. A huge gorgeous basket of perennials were beautifully displayed and delivered to the funeral home. (Purchased through a phone conversation.) The recipient was so touched to get something meaningful, and specific to her and the memory of her loved one. Fairview Gardens did a great job.

I keep hoping that they will get some kind, helpful people that work there. The guy that seems to be in charge never smiles or greets people and when we try to ask a question he acts like it is a bother to respond. There are a couple of employees that have been kind and helpful, when we seek them out, but for the most part it has a very uninviting atmosphere.

I have been frequenting there since they opened because it is very close to my house, they have quality products and I want to support our local businesses. But it continually is becoming more of a chore because of the unfriendly, uninviting atmosphere that seems to be the culture of Fairview Gardens. I am not the only customer that feels this way. Most people I talk to have had similar experiences.

It is always a pleasure to shop in the store. It's especially a treat as I know a couple of the people that work there and they are so helpful. But even the employees that I don't know are every bit is helpful. Now if only I could learn to budget better, haha

I have always enjoyed coming to Fairview Gardens. Employees are helpful and kind. Prices are reasonable. I have observed employees "running their butts off to help patrons." I have also observed some patrons being unkind and down-right mean to the employees. Despite that, the employees were patient and kind, as well as apologetic. Great job on customer service!

I have been waiting to get out during social distancing to support a local nursery and buy some plants. Today I had the opportunity to do so and was impressed by the beautiful plants but extremely disappointed in the customer service. I wandered around for a bit as I hadn't been there before trying to figure out the social distance guidelines they had in place and where I might find what I was looking for.

I had two people who worked there walk by me and not even bother to ask if I had any questions. I tried to approach them by saying hello and they kept walking face to the floor with a quick "hi." I continued to the other part of the entrance and found the signage. As I was wandering through the nursery I noticed a few people wearing masks. I stopped to put my mask on and set down my keys.

I continued on. Once I found my purchase, I found my way to the check out (within the social distance guidelines). Upon getting there I approached 5 to 6 people working all facing away from the door carrying on and chatting. Someone finally recognized I was standing there with two huge plants and said hello. The cashier then turned around and rang me up.

I realized my keys were missing and politely asked how I would get back to wear I had picked up these two plants and was told that I would need to go all the way around. They were pointing in the opposite direction of where I picked up my plants. I was a bit confused as I went back out because everywhere I looked it said "Do Not Enter." Noone offered to help, noone took more than a second to give me specific directions of where that might be, they just turned back to the conversation they were having.

I went back to the very front of the entrance and found my way to my keys. I walked back in to grab my plants and said I wasn't sure I went the right way but I found them. They just seemed annoyed. I believe that even though places have beautiful quality, they should still offer decent customer service. Especially now when people are not real comfortable being out. I will not be returning to Fairview Gardens even though they are right in Sauk Rapids. I was made to feel like I did not matter to them one bit and that I will not support.

1st time purchasing from here. They seem to have a very large selection of "exotic or unique" annuals, not a lot of your "basic" annuals. All seem to be of very high quality. I did not notice many perennial plants either. If the annuals I purchased do as well as I am expecting, I will definitely keep going back every spring. Update: The annual did very well. They looked great all season long. I will be going back each spring to purchase more!

Came in today to get some shrubs for a garden I am planting with my three girls. Horrible customer service! I had no idea who the employees were since they had No uniforms so I didn't know who to ask for help and No One came to ask if we needed assistance. When we finally did find what we needed, I asked the check out lady how big the shrub was going to get.

She answered in a snobby voice "it should say on the label". This is the second time I've been here and the second time I received the same treatment. No help and snobby check out. Not going back again!

Just did a planting party! It was awesome! Prices aren't too expensive, and had a ton of fun. Jasmine is a wonderful helper, she really knows her stuff.

Went there to look since it was our first time there. Website said they were open till 6pm and it was 4:50 so we had time. Walked in and a lady walks up and says can i help you find something (in a snobby kind of voice) i replied that this was the first tims we were there. She said well we close in 10 minutes. I said well the website said you were open till 6, she then immediately responded"well that doesnt start till the 23rd so is there something i can hslp you find?" again in a snobby attitude towards us. My husband asked where there perennials were at. She said those arent in yet and then walked away. Worst customer service ever and will never return to this snobby store.
