I can understand why this place is called 5 star gardens! Beautiful flowers, reasonable prices and extremely helpful and cheerful staff! Can't wait to come back!

Great little local garden center. Great choice of trees in the back of property. Much larger establishment than it looks from the front. If you see something you like, bring it to the register to hold, or it will be gone. If you leave and think it will be there the next day, you also may be disappointed. Like it, Get it! Great choices of annuals, perrenials, shrubs, vegetable plants and especially trees. Well worth stopping and smelling the roses!

Super bright and cheery atmosphere. The staff was friendly, helpful and articulately knowledgeable. The set up was lovely and when I was there, the world felt normal again and I would suggest taking a trip if you're feeling a little wiped out from the crazy hustle and bustle of life.

Beautiful area, little pond and waterfall, the whole shabang. The staff roams around, periodically asking if you need help with anything. Great experience.

I absolutely love coming here! They have a beautiful set up. I could walk around for hours enjoying all of the beautiful plants, water fountain & koi fish pond. Everyone that I met here have been very nice and extremely knowledgeable/helpful. I will always remain a repeat customer & have been recommending it to people I know.

We relied on John, Lennie, Bill and Chris to create a hardscape that included a walled fire pit terrace, regrading the side yard and the installing rock on the slope and terrace. Excellent craftsmanship, quick and efficient crew and nice guys! We give five stars to Five Star!

Linda helped me find a gift for Mother's Day. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. While waiting to check out with the cashier I watched her explain to another customer the sunlight and pruning needs of her purchases. Customer service is obviously a priority at Five Star Gardens. Well done!

One area of our house that had been neglected for as long as we have lived here was our downstairs patio. We engaged Five Star to redo the entire area, rebuild our stone wall, add a water feature and a fire pit, lay pavers and generally grade and resurface the area. We are extremely pleased with the result - it is so much more than we even dreamed it could be.

The team was very responsive to our needs, listening to us and making suggestions. Their ideas were spot on for us and if we wanted to change or add something, they were able to work with that. There was great communication at all times, they showed up when the said they would and they kept us aware of their schedule as well. The work was meticulous - the pondless waterfall and the rock wall are works of art in our opinion.

They also took great care to make sure that water would flow away from the house and not into our basement. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to have any of this type of work done and would be happy to answer any questions if people have them.

This place is great. John and his crew did a great job bringing my idea to reality. All of them were so nice. John also knew I was having a girl and brought pink clemantis to put in the garden for her. How. thoughtful. You don't really get that kind of service anymore but here I did. I will definitely have them back to finish my other project. Highly recommend them.

I brought my granddaughters on Friday to make a Fairy Garden, best experience ever. Everyone is so helpful, they not only made a fairy garden but they got to feed the fish, they were given a snack, such a great way to introduce them to gardening!

What a gorgeous selection of flowers and decorations for the garden. The staff was super kind and helpful.

I have two ponds in my backyard both of which I built myself. Five Star was a very helpful resource in terms of equipment and material. I purchased the liners, hoses, and pumps from them. The staff assigned to this department is knowledgeable and helpful. I recently had to replace a pump due to a problem outside of anyone's control. When I got the pump home I realized I'd purchased one that was undersized in terms of GPH.

Not only was it easy to return but I was able to purchase the exact pump I needed that they had 'used' for a sweet discount. They are good folks, and it's worth the drive from Springfield. They also have plants and flowers etc. One negative thing; a few years ago I bought a water plant there for one of my ponds. The thing was/is evil.

It invaded the whole pond with runners under rocks and through the water and it choked out the bog area. Even though I'd gotten rid of 95% of it, chutes still continue to pop up. I refuse to move out all the field stone to try to 'get it all'. Live and learn (to research before you drop it in the water.)
