Critical: Professionalism An employee carelessly spread salt near my vehicle, I now have scratch marks and specks on the car due to this.

Jason Lembo is the owner, I've known him since I was little, he's a few years older than me, but does a great job, very reliable, professional and can handle any job no matter the size.

I met Jason through a friend when I was seeking an excavator to complete a full excavation project on a new house I was building. I couldn't find the right person to do the job for a fair price. I met Jason on the job, he quickly told me what needed to be done. He gave me a proposal by the end of that day which was a fair price. I gave him the work to complete the entire project.

He and his team showed up the next day to start. He and his team worked on my job which lasted over a month and got the job done quickly and efficiently at a fair price. Jason really worked hard to get my job done on time. Thanks brother. Highly recommend Jason and his company.

I contacted the Fredco Group last fall in hopes that they could fix some problems with our outdoor fountain. The liner was leaking and there were cracks in the piping. We contracted with Jason to restore the fountain to its full original capacity and replace the liner, and install a new pump with sufficient strength to push water to the highest level of the fountain.

It took several weeks for them to come and do the work, but when they did, they seemed quite competent. They took the fountain down from its pedestal, separated the pieces, and fixed the broken pipes. So far so good. It was November at this point so with the potential for cold nights, we agreed it was best to not leave any water in the fountain at that time - they would come back in spring to turn things on and make sure everything was working properly.

I paid them for the work at that time. Well, in March and April I reached out to Fredco and they were very slow to reply. After a few weeks of spring I turned the fountain on, and disappointingly the pump they provided was unable to power the water to the top of the fountain. I reached out again to Jason to explain the situation and ask Fredco to take a look and make the necessary fixes to meet our agreement.

After a significant number of calls and emails they agreed to send someone, but it was a low-level employee who wasn't authorized/able to do anything other than to confirm that, indeed, the fountain is not working as it should be. Having been promised that they would stand by their work, I have been trying to contact Fredco for months to come back and fix the problem.

However they have pulled the complete disappearing act - ignoring calls, not replying to emails. It's very disappointing because I am sure it would be an easy fix, and I would much prefer the work be done than to be spending time writing negative reviews. The bottom line with the Freco Group is that they are quite capable of doing the work they promise.

If you are operating a large business and have the wherewithal to protect yourself with a back-loaded contract, you likely won't have any problems. But if you are a regular homeowner looking to do a moderate landscape project, put some pavers in your driveway, etc, beware: If any problems come up with their work in the weeks or months after the leave, they may pull a disappearing act and you won't have any recourse.
