Kurt Bongiovanni's lifelong passion for landscape design has made him a NJ landscape leader. Combined with his three decades of experience and a degree in horticulture has helped as well. Furthermore he continues to study plant biology. As well as routinely attending progressive horticulture, design and construction classes to further his knowledge.
Geraldine Ann Reinfurt Bongiovanni's legacy (1948-1983) inspired the founding of New Jersey-based G.A. Landscape Design & Associates. Geraldine's giving spirit and love of nature motivated Kurt Bongiovanni to build a business that aspires to add beauty to the world, just as his mother did every day.
G.A. Landscape Design & Associates has been providing landscape services to NJ homeowners since 1990. We specialize in the creation and maintenance of outdoor landscapes. We strongly recommend GA Landscaping for landscaping and hardscape work to anyone. Kurt, Esper and their whole crew are very professional and deliver excellent workmanship. From design to completion, they were hands on and meticulous. They had previously completed two projects for us- a front hardscape that has lasted 15 years with no issues and a major irrigation project, also with no issues many years later.
When it was time to install a patio, we knew they would deliver again. They are honest and there are no surprises with the process. The quality of their work is why we continue to use them for our projects.

Six years ago Kurt & Esper developed a balanced and thoughtful design for a retaining wall and patio that transformed a dead space in our yard. It was a wonderful and positive change for us. This spring I went back to them for help with a simple yard restoration project to follow a sewer line replacement. I ultimately decided to go with a more comprehensive landscape redesign, including a new bluestone patio in the rear yard to match the one they built in 2014.
This project entailed lots of work on reshaping garden beds, adding ground cover, relocating existing plants and bringing in many new shrubs and flowering hydrangea. Once again, a balanced and thoughtful design from GA. The 'art' of design is nuanced and Esper is excellent at it. Add trust to their pricing policy and confidence their team will be on site when they're supposed to be - and I couldn't recommend GA Landscape Design more highly.

My husband and I would highly recommend GA Landscape and Design. Throughout the entire process Kurt and Esper were a pleasure to work with and managed the project on a daily basis to ensure everything went smoothly. Their workers were beyond professional and clean. The end result of our property is breath taking between the landscaping and the lighting.
They cared about our project as though it were their own home. We could not be more pleased with the job they did and the entire process. You will not go wrong going with this company!

Working with Kurt on our landscape project for our home went so smoothly -from start to finish - you knew you were dealing wit a true professional and patient professional as well. The communication throughout the project was great, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. With so many horror stories we heard from neighbors using other contractors, we were worried - but boy did Kurt and GA prove us wrong. Highly recommend Kurt.

Where to start. would it be the beautiful design of our entire property? So impressive that we framed the design drawing and hung it in our house as ART. Or would it be the incredible job Kurt and Esper's team did rerouting water that was coming into our basement, around the house and off the property. And everything in between. They are experts are what they do and I wouldn't work with another team!
