Very happy with the paver patio that was installed at my house. I originally had an eye sore of a garden/mud pit that badly needed attention. After contemplating what to do and different styles of patios or rock gardens, we eventually settled on Techo-Bloc pavers. The team from GC was very responsive with my questions and their projected timeline held up to be true.

They said they wouldn't be able to start my patio for another 4-5 weeks, which was spot on to when the work actually began. Once work began, the team did a great job keeping us in the loop to what they were working on for that day. We were able to make some minor layout changes during the installation of the pavers with no real issues on the customer end. Overall, we're really happy with the results and the overall process from start to finish. The final project pictures are below (sorry, I don't have any before pictures, but trust me, it was ugly)

We contacted Garrett Churchill to install a patio in our backyard. They gave us a great price and the service was fabulous. Not only did Andy deal with the township and permits but he was able to adjust the design according to the township requirements. It was installed without any hassles and we are truly enjoying our outdoor space. A beautiful place to relax at the end of the day! Thank you Andy and Garrett Churchill!

As you can see from the before pictures I had a significant drainage issue coupled with the fact that I was downhill with no clear way to get rid of the water. The driveway was an eyesore as it collected mud, weeds and everything else. We dreaded rainy days as our dog would come in filthy from running through the driveway. Andy from GC worked with our township engineer for what seemed like 4-6 weeks to come up with a plan that was approved by the township in terms of how we dealt with the storm water removal that in the end was a really elegant solution that was respectful of our neighbors property as we didn't want this project to adversely impact them.

Fast forward, the project took about 1.5 weeks all told as he coordinated with the electrician and paving company to rip out the old driveway and ick, install a really cool drainage system, regrade and repave. Then we get hit with some of the nastiest storms rolling through (see the after). The system held up like a champ! Andy would even stop by periodically to see that it was working properly and made some fine tuning adjustments along the way that will help me with maintenance.

This level of care, planning and creativity was exactly what I was looking for! I could not recommend Garrett Churchill enough! As a result of this I am likely having them do my deck replacement and landscaping next!

Garrett Churchill's Team just completed removing part of an asphalt driveway/fence and installing a beautiful brick patio and slate path in our backyard. We are thrilled with the results! But, just as importantly, we were thrilled with the entire team, managed by Justin, who were a pleasure to work with. Their work habits were exemplary - always pleasant, always on time, hard-working, and clearly very competent.

We also appreciated how often they checked in with us to make sure we were happy with the design. They finished the job in a week and did a great job cleaning up and were happy to provide some extra touches (like moving leftover materials to wherever we wanted). Also a shout out to the head guys :) Brian and Andy who stayed in touch and managed the entire process.

This is the first time we've had major hardscape work done, and we'll definitely use Churchill again when we need more. No surprise we now we want them to do some planting and landscaping for us in the Spring to continue creating our backyard oasis.

I had a sink hole in my back yard. Called another company which promised to get back to me but didn't. Found Garrett Churchill, called, made an appointment with Suzanne who is one of the nicest people you can deal with and Andy who is also extremely nice to deal with and he was out on the day scheduled to let me know what was involved. We also talked about additional work to be done in the spring.

He promised a quote which I received later that day and I contacted Suzanne again to set a date for them to do the work. The crew arrived on time, proceeded to fill the hole and had it filled and power tapped down within a few hours. They put a piece of fabric on the top so it wouldn't be muddy for my dogs. A job well done by knowledgeable individuals. Overall experience was an 11 out of10. I will definitely use them in the spring. Cost was $724.00 and work was completed around 12/8.

I have used Garrett Churchill several times over the past 4-5 years for landscaping work I am unable to do - things like an in-ground drainage system for a part of my yard that tends to be underwater after heavy rains, setting up a large concrete garden fountain, and planting a large tree. Andy Sykes, who I have always dealt with, is always prompt, always reachable, and often does extra things that he is not really required to do.

A good example is the large garden fountain, which I purchased from a manufacturer in San Francisco. When it was delivered (by large flat-bed truck) it was left on the street on a large wooden pallet at the bottom of my sloping driveway. When I called Andy to let him know that the fountain had arrived, Andy volunteered to come out with a forklift and move the pallet and fountain off the street and up to the top of my driveway.

I could give other examples, but this review has already grown too long. In summary, I would highly recommend Garrett Churchill for the highest quality landscape related work.

Garrett Churchill repaired our front steps and driveway entrance post as well as planting several trees and shrubs around the yard. The work was done on time, finished on time and looks great. I appreciated that the crew was on time everyday and did a thorough job of cleaning up after they completed work each day. Brian kept me well informed of the progress and always made sure to coordinate with me any choices that needed to be made during each project. Garrett Churchill is my go-to contractor when I need quality hardscape and landscape work!

I hired Andy to refurbish my pond and remove some shrubs. The pond looks like new, and we were thrilled with the result. We did have an issue during the job, but Andy came back on a Saturday and went above and beyond addressing our concerns. If I could give him six stars, I would.

The team at Garrett Churchill were very knowledgeable, responsive and conscientious, a pleasure to work with. Andy is a very busy man yet he always found the time to answer my questions. I highly recommend them!
