Learn to drive. Almost T-boned me in a company vehicle blowing a stop sign when you didn't have the right of way. Great advertising.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness This company repeatedly violates Newton's ban on gas-powered leaf blowers, a law since 2017. When I politely reminded them of this, they continue to do it. Do not trust this company at all. Any company that keeps violating the law is not trustworthy.

Poor customer service, inflated pricing, does not stand behind work I had a good first experience with General Landscape a few years ago and called them again for some work. They quoted me $850 for a full day of doing various things: pulling up rose bushes, trimming trees, removing a small stump. I was told it would take about 8 hours. I had to take my mother to a medical appointment unexpectedly and was not here when they showed up.

My neighbor reported that they were here for just two hours, blocked her driveway and were extremely rude. Moreover, they did not complete the list of work. They returned, with no notice, when I was on vacation to trim a tree they had missed. They simply lopped off the top of the tree -- no shaping. It's like a 10 year old cut it. The focal point of my foundation planting is a mis-shapen blob, not even remotely tree shaped.

If I had been here, I would NEVER have approved the work. I called Steve to discuss a resolution, but he was not interested in inspecting the team's shoddy work and kept claiming they do a great job. He even lied and said he gave me a discount! So, about 3 or 4 hours work cost me $850 and my tree looks horrendous. This is not a matter of opinion, as Steve says, it's a fact that all my neighbors agree with. There are many landscaping companies, save your money.

I have lived in Dedham my entire life and can i say without a doubt that Steve Gosdanian the owner is the definition of a hack in the landscape maintenance industry. I have seen his company's work around the Dedham area and its mediocre at best. Many of my neighbors and close friends that have used him have quickly switched to more superior company's in the area.

His hiring ethics are extremely suspect too. Everyone that seems to work for his company doesn't speak English. I have even heard rumors that he doesn't pay overtime and has no full time employees so he doesn't have to offer health insurance. A company like this is bad for the community we live in. Please don't support a man who exploits the work force and customer base in his community.
