Services
Whether you use us or another landscape company, make sure they have someone on staff that understands static pressure, and knows how to combat it using footings, drainage and various other methods. We will have at your property a staff member certified by the CMA for Segmental Retaining Walls. We stand behind our walls with a minimum Three Year Warranty against any installation or manufacture defects.
No matter what landscaping company you use make sure they understand how to make your patio long lasting. We here at Gordon's use AB3 Footings, Polymeric Sand/Polymeric Rock and proper drainage to insure your Patio is in it for the long haul. We stand behind our Patios with a minimum three year Warranty against any installation or manufacture defects.
Underneath your property there are hundreds of channels that water follows naturally. What we do is use French Drains, Dry Wells, Flo-Well and Catch Basins to make our own larger and better channels to redirect the water. Since water always takes the least path of resistance we use simple physics to solve your problem. And since these drains are hidden underground (besides some well placed and small outlets) your landscaping retains it's beauty.
Gordon's Lawn and Landscape has received a 4.9 rating from Google, A+ Rating from the Better Business Bureau and an A rating from Angie's List. Dan and his crew are "THE MEN" to use when you want it done right. I had a drainage problem that was eroding my yard plus trees out of control and dead landscaping.

Dan and his crew did a fantastic job getting a rock creekbed put in place in my backyard to address stormwater runoff issues. They also put some landscaping in place to make it more eye-catching. The work was done on time and within budget - very reasonable compared to other places that provided estimates. I would definitely recommend their services and will reach out again for future projects.

Dan, Oren, Jacob, Bobby and Aaron did a phenomenal job on our landscaping job! They installed a beautiful block wall on our sloped front yard (see picture), laid landscape rock in our ditch to help prevent further erosion, brought in fill and sod around our concrete where water had washed dirt away at the edge, increased the size of the beds around our trees so they match the drip edge of the trees, doubled the size of a shade garden, refreshed the mulch all the way around the house, ran drain lines to control the downspout and sump pump water and the list goes on.

This would have taken us forever! These guys really hustled, completing this major update in a little over one day. This was money well spent. We will be bringing them back for our next big project idea! MANY THANKS Gordan's Landscaping team!

Five-star rating, for sure, for my front yard make-over by Dan and crew. They put in a three-tiered rock garden that is colorful and so well built. It solves my hillside erosion and decades-long problem of a too-shady front entrance. A backyard French drain also went in to solve a muddy problem there. Professional and pleasant from start to finish. Budget conscious. Highly recommended.

Dan and his crew came out in June to level out a spot in our backyard so we could put in an above ground 18' x 18' pool. When I got back in town to see the outcome, I wasn't entirely pleased as it didn't come to the 20' x 20' circle as I thought we originally intended. However, Dan was kind enough to reach back out upon hearing how unsatisfied I was with it and was willing to make the corrections free of charge, even when I didn't have the paperwork available to show what was originally intended.

He came back last week and made the change. It's still not perfect in that both sides don't quite line up right and the full 20 x 20 space wasn't cleared, but it's much closer to what we needed and will work after some easy personal fixes. I appreciate Dan coming back out to make the project complete. It's too late in the season to get the pool up now, but at least it'll be ready for next year. *Ignore the weeds coming up in the dried dirt spot. I need to kill those. Those grew from the first time Dan came out.*

** 1-year Update ** Dan's response is absurd. Those are finished pics. I've included another picture to show how the patio is starting to look after only one year. The patio is failing all over the place. These gaps are big enough I can get my little finger in. If you look in the gap you can see through to the sand (or what's left of it) underneath. Needless to say, these bricks are loose.

There are cracks and gaps everywhere on the patio. As Dan said, I did want my father (a structural engineer with 45 years of experience) in charge of the project because Dan showed every sign of being incompetent. You can see that his work is failing after just one year. As I expected. I should have fired him the first time he mouthed off. ** Original Review ** Dan and his crew did a very poor job on our project.

In hindsight I should have fired him several times. It seemed like he was in way over his head on our patio and getting him to fix things was a constant battle. He would tell my wife one thing and me another and try to play us against each other. His combativeness made my wife so frustrated she cried several times. I do NOT recommend hiring Gordon's Lawn and Landscape for anything.

We paid almost $20,000.00 for our project and ended up with shoddy workmanship and several things that we will have to pay another company to fix. See pics for some examples of their work.

Dan and his crew did a great job with our project. We had a retaining wall that wasn't built properly originally by a previous homeowner and had sloped down over the years as you can see in the 'before' photo. We also had a sidewalk from the front patio to the driveway that had become severely cracked and broken up over the years before we bought the home, which was a tripping hazard for visitors. Dan worked with me on designs and costs while we discussed the project at my house, and was able to provide a quote on the spot, which was nice, since the other companies I got bids from usually took a few days to hear back from. Dan and his crew showed up on time at 7 every morning for the project, were very friendly, they asked additional questions and were able to provide answers to questions I brought up.

My fiance and I are extremely pleased with how the project turned out and the pricing was very reasonable given some of the other bids received. I appreciate their hard work and definitely recommend.
