Gringo Dave's Irrigation

Called to get our sprinklers readjusted. They came over and somehow made it worse, creating puddles along dead patches in the lawn. We called them back and asked to see if a different worker could come check it out this time around yet they refused saying it's a water pressure problem from city of redding, even though there was never a problem with it prior to receiving their work.

My sprinkler system was worse after the repair technician came out. Sloppy work. Sprinklers were aimed at the rocks and pavement and not on the grass. Called back to advise of the problem and the lady said she would have another technician come adjust it. She never called back to set up an appointment, left several messages. Also, caused a lot of extra leaking.would not recommend this place.

Work fast, did great job. Will have him back to do more work.

I had a leak right before fall, they fixed it and I never turned on my irrigation system after because it rained the rest of the season. It wasn't until this spring I turned it back on and the leak was still there, so I called and they came back to fix it again, still there was a leak. They came back to fix it an additional 2 more times. I paid close to $1400 for all their services.

Now don't get me wrong they fixed some of my hoses and fixed an additional leak in another area of my yard which I would say $400 of that was for that portion but how many times does it take for someone to fix a leak near my irrigation pump since last fall? Every time they say they "fixed" it there was another leak. I get it if if there was a new leak each and every time they came out but why don't they fix all the leaks at one time?

How was it a coincidence there was a new leak every time they left my house and charged me? I finally had a coworkers husband who does this kind of work, look at it and he said it looked like a mess and was able to fix it for $60! I was so relieved to find someone honest with quality work. Be weary if you get an issue after the first time they fix something otherwise don't pay another dime. I wasted a lot of my hard earned money.

I had them fix a leaking sprinkler system. The person they sent out was nice enough but it took an entire week. After turning on the sprinklers the first time I noticed the problem wasn't fixed, not to mention they left the old parts in the yard for me to pick up. After contacting them again there was no response for two weeks to schedule another appointment and then they sent a very passive aggressive text saying that they were too busy. Apparently too busy during the time they tried to fix the problem to do it right in the first place. Very dissatisfied and unprofessional demeanor.

My Go-To company for water problems in my yard. Sprinklers fixed - Check. Drains working - Check. Good service - Check. Licensed & insured - Check. They keep in touch and show up when they say they will. That's a big deal! I appreciate the hard work it takes for a company to operate legally and stay in business as long as they have. Gringo Dave's did a great job with expanding our sprinkler system to cover more of the yard. They were also able to respond quickly after a winter freeze to repair a cracked pipe that was leaking. Thanks!

Calling Gringo Dave's was a decision I never regretted, when I needed an irrigation problem at my home diagnosed and fixed. From start to finish, they were punctual, highly professional, and thorough (never cutting corners to get a job done "on the cheap"). I was especially impressed with how they cleaned up the work area before they left, so it actually looked better than before they started.

My wife and I make it a rule to leave workers to their work, and stay out of they way so we don't unnecessarily prolong the work that needed doing; but when we saw something we didn't understand, everyone on their crew, including Phyllis and Dave themselves were pleasant and never made me feel like I was a nuisance or getting in their way. They explained everything with patience and made sure I understood what the problems were and what they were going to do to fix them.

Their pricing was very fair. I would not hesitate to call them back again, should we ever need the services they provide. I would also whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone who values hard, honest-working people who approach the job to be done as if they were doing it for their own homes!
