I had an issue with yard drainage. Over the years, the water coming into the sump pit increased to where my sump pump was running with great frequency. Brian identified a negative slope on one side of the house. Bushes were torn out, window wells were installed, and the area was regraded, and grass seed was applied. The crew was very good. My drainage issues improved dramatically.

Just had an inch of rain in the last day, and the difference in the water flow into the sump pit is very noticeable. The only negative was that the grass did not come in really great. (I watered frequently.) I had to re-seed about forty percent of the area. However, I would definitely recommend them for your landscaping needs. If possible, I would have given 4.5 stars.

Not only do you get professional work it comes with promptness and smiles. Brian and his crew more than lived up to my expectations. They put in a brand new lawn, planted many trees and shrubs as well as new mulching of existing bed. Will definitely be calling them back for all of my landscaping needs. We have used H&M several times over the past few year. They did a major update and installation of our landscaping. they installed pavers for us and even repaired our sump pump line. Followed that up with more pavers and plantings several years later. Good work, good people and responds to all calls in a timely manner. We have continued to use H &M for our lawn care needs. Bushes are treated and fertilizer applied throughout the year. Excellent service and who we recommend to our neighbors.

I really wanted to use this company after all of the great reviews. Unfortunately, I had to leave multiple messages before they even responded. Then he came out to look at the landscaping project which was quite large at approximately $20k and he told me he would get back with me with a design in about a month and I never heard from him again. We went with another company. I'm shocked at my experience based on the reviews here. It doesn't make sense. This occurred fall 2021 with a goal of early spring 2022 start date.

They just completed a job for me clearing and grating areas and trimming trees; they also created a rock tree surround. Great experience. Brian is responsive, knowledgeable and reliable. The crew is hard working and accommodating. When I asked them to revise the tree surround a bit, they did it with no complaint and never made me feel like I was asking for something they did not want to do.
