Ham Landscaping

I used their snowplow services last winter. They broke 6 of my driveway lights and have made no attempt to repair them despite my many calls. It's now June. I'm very disappointed and will have to hire an electrician which I'm sure will be quite costly.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality H.A.M Landscaping is beyond what I consider an unprofessional work environment. Expect poor working conditions and to find your job posted on indeed when they're ready to replace you instead of directly addressing the employee. Don't waste your time apply somewhere that cares about your well being.

HAM is consistently inconsistent. Snow plow: one of the most expensive options in the neighborhood. Ive had them for 2 years. In the 2020-2021 season they were extremely late early in the season during heavy falls but during lighter snowfalls later in the season they were more consistent. In 2021-2022 they have been a disappointment. Our friends often bet how late they will be because its somewhat comical how inconsistent they are.

If there is a snowfall overnight we frequently won't be plowed until late in the afternoon or evening. If your lucky enough to get someone on the phone it's unlikely they can provide meaningful information. Landscaping: overall effective landscapers, not resolving existing issues but not worsening things either. They do a pretty good job here for the basics.

Have missed services but then came out after calling. Billing: bills are frequently inaccurate. Incorrect items added for services not performed, late fees for thing paid on time.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolute scam company. They cash your $300 for plowing and then disappear into the wind. They never plow per their contract and don't respond to phone calls or e-mails. They are thieves.

One of my favorite winter pastimes is to gaze out the bay window in my living room, I love watching snowplows clear my neighbors' driveways. Then I sadly turn my gaze to my own driveway as yet another inch of snow accumulates. And another. I call, you don't answer. I leave messages, you don't return them. It's been snowing steadily all day, this isn't a freak winter storm.

The contract states the plows come out at 2 inches of accumulation, which was 12 hours ago. Are you enjoying my $400? I hope so, because I'd rather have used it to pay someone to run me over.

We have used H.A.M for years with no issues and great customer service. This year has been a completely different experience. We have left numerous voice mails that were not returned. My backyard has never looked this bad. I don't know what has happened to their customer service but I cannot recommend this company any longer. Army worm infestation tore up my backyard and they never got back to us with a quote.

We requested fall clean up and have not received any notification about that being completed. Avoid this company. The last name on the account is Casino. Believe me I have the correct company.

Just look at all the other horrible one star reviews. I second the statement that if there was a possibility to leave negative stars I would. You could not possibly find a worse landscaping service. For years I have been battling with them to stop blowing their clippings from the property next door all over my yard. For years it's the same thing over and over and over again. Whoever trains these people, if any training even occurs, should be fired immediately. In what world is it okay to blow your yard mess all over the neighbors yard and call it a day?

This is the lawn you get with H.A.M. Notice how the grass dwarfs the dandelions. They request prepayment in the spring for the season and then attempt to double charge you in the fall. They refuse to answer questions and eventually your lawn looks like crap. Avoid at all costs!

I love my job and the people.at ham landscape.and they train you very well for u to be the best in there businesse.

Hire them to redo the landscaping in our backyard. There was no attention to detail and the work was of very poor quality. The number of problems we have had with the work are too numerous to mention. When contacted about these issues with their work they offered to quote me a new job to fix their mistakes. Any guarantee from them is worthless. Do not use them.

Just had a terrible experience. Planned a memorial day cookout with family and friends and received half a cut. So they come on a Friday when it's raining and cut my front yard which looks terrible due to the fact that it was raining and they leave the back uncut. My wife is going crazy and I say they'll probably come finish tomorrow. There's no way a professional company is going to do us like that.

So the next day the whole neighborhood is getting their lawn cut and my company is no where to be found. So now we are getting ready to be embarrassed as the whole neighborhood looks good and our backyard looks like a small jungle.

We hired them to do a completely redo the landscaping in our backyard. I had a bad feeling about them during the quoting process but my wife insisted that we use them. As the other reviewers have noted, the work was of poor quality, the guarantee is worthless. The number of issues are too numerous to list. I am currently in the process of redoing almost everything they did. Wish I had looked a Yelp before hiring them. Do not use them.

I would give them negative stars if possible. They dropped off stones/boulders in front our property at least two months ago to fix our creek. They took half of them away as they needed them for another job. We have paid them in advance and they don't return messages. Don't use them:

We contracted with HAM for a fall/spring cleanup. We were generally pleased with the work in the fall. Spring cleanup was to be done by "mid March" according to our contract. No one ever showed up. I called them today (May 28), to notify them that I would like them to return our payment for failure to complete work. The individual answering the phone said that "GPS" shows that they were at our house on Mar 27th.

When I informed her that the beds are a mess and the leaves, debris, etc are evidence to the contrary, she was dismissive: "That's not something I can address." I invited her to send someone to look for themselves. She took my number and I am still awaiting a response. I've included photos of the "cleanup."

I contacted HAM landscaping a month ago to have them trim a tree in front of my house before listing photos were taken. They never showed. I followed up 2 weeks ago, they never showed. I called last Tuesday and they promised me that they would come trim the tree, and I called 2 more times this week to remind them. They still did not come. I even asked on Tuesday if I should hire another company and explained that the photos would be that following Monday morning and Quintell assured me that he would take care of it. Shame on you HAM.
