I met Mike with Landscape Arts about five or six years ago after moving from San Diego to Savannah to be closer to family. When I first moved into my newly built house, I worked with a landscaping company that had been recommended, since I virtually knew no one in Savannah, to install landscaping, irrigation, and lighting for my home. I started to notice after a few months of working with this company that they did not seem to know what plants would integrate well with the environment and, in turn, forced me to spend money on replacements and to fix their mistakes.

After being in the area for some time, a friend told me about Landscape Arts. I set up a meeting with Mike and explained my situation and concerns about trusting another company after my last experience. From the beginning, I noticed how knowledgeable Mike was about Savannah's environment and which plants work in the area and which do not. Mike and his crew were very patient with me and truly valued my opinions and vision for how I wanted my landscape to look. Mike would come back to me after researching various alternatives and give me good options for planting, lighting, and explain what the correct irrigation for each area would be.

Eventually all the problems were solved and corrected, and we were on to watching a beautiful garden mature. The correct maintenance is as important as the proper selection and design choices. Landscape Arts has been doing the maintenance now for over five years. I have received a plethora of compliments from family, friends, and even complete strangers who drop notes in my mailbox to tell me how great my landscape is.

My home also will be featured in the Landings Landlovers 2022 Tour of Homes. The Landscape Arts crew works diligently every time they visit my home to maintain the landscape to the best of their ability. They have even helped me set out patio furniture before! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the services provided by Landscape Arts, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful landscape design.

Landscape Arts was called to do some maintenance and re- designing of my mother's yard in Savannah. They went above and beyond the call of duty, even offering Zoom landscape consults during the height of covid 19. The owner followed up himself after the job was completed and my mom was very happy with the work and selection of plants they chose for her flower beds. I highly recommend Landscape Arts for all of your major yard improvements.

Just got my new house but the previous owners didn't take care of the lawn. I wanted it to look good so I decided to contract this service. They missed our agreed upon date and when they finally did come they didn't listen to my instructions. I asked for a hedge makeover and they somehow made them look even worse and didn't listen to me when I asked them to stop. They were playing loud music and I suspect they were drunk.

I asked for lightings around my garden on my lawn and they wouldn't even turn on. Also asked for a re-design on my azalea garden and all my flowers were poorly placed. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality Was not respectful or professional. They left my yard in poor condition. They left uncovered holes and damaged my fence.

Landscape Arts turned my nightmare of a back yard into a beautiful and serene paradise for me. The owner, Mike Gulick, actually designed and implemented my new garden and walkway. It's beautiful. The workers were all very nice and they cleaned up after they finished and left my new back yard in perfect condition. I couldn't have asked for a better Landscape company to help me. Pictures say it all. Landscape Arts Inc has been taking care of my lawn since I built my house. It looks as good as a golf course. Well worth the $ to me. I've never had a lawn that looked this good. Keep it up Landscape Arts!
