The owner definitely loves running away and not telling you face-to-face if there's a problem. You call that professional? More like childish. If you want quality lawn care or maintenance go with Scapes, they are right across the street.

AVOID THIS COMPANY Failed to return calls repeatedly. Never even got a quote, and when I finally did get to speak with a representative they were incredibly rude. Would not recommend. Update; tried again, need service, dude came out, didn't provide a quote and then emailed me saying they don't have the capacity for new business. All the while they're running active ad campaigns.

LawnSouth is the best yard service we have ever used! They are reliable and pay attention to detail. Any time we have a question or a request, they are quick to respond. We highly recommend them for any lawn service needs.

Easy, friendly contact and appointment setup. Great price. On time completion of work and did some extras by blowing leaves from around the base of the house and decks. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for any of my landscape needs.

We have been doing a huge lawn renovation project and called Lawnsouth to give us an estimate to haul away a HUGE pile of debris. The office manager was very courteous and detailed in her explanation of the process. The next day, Roger came out. He gave me an estimate, which at the time I thought was a little high but in the end, with the amazing customer service Roger gave me ( he gave me a detail of what needed to happen, best options and also put forth a great deal of effort to make sure the work got done as quickly as possible) it was definitely worth it. The crew that came to do the work was pleasant and efficient and Roger came once they were done to make sure I was satisfied. Overall rating.awesome!

We've been in our house for 17 years this summer and had a plan to make the backyard nice when we moved in. Then we got a dog, now the dog is 16, and we called April she came out and had an original idea, that gave use of our entire area (townhouse backyard) and gave the dog some space. Now our only problem is, we don't want to leave the patio. Thanks April to you and your team. Attached are a before and after couple after pictures.

Drivers are very unprofessional and rude. They have no common sense driving in traffic. I was actually considering using Lawn South until one of your driver cut me off and almost hit me for the 100th time today! Response from the owner reflects the attitude of the company. Drivers should stop swinging out cutting off cars, running red lights, and should know proper safety. Legitimate complaint, from what was a potential customer and was going to use your company for lawn service.

I needed to widen my driveway with some pavers and I needed some ideas for controlling erosion in my small backyard. They came out and discussed it with me and then told me their plan. I then bought the pavers for the front, worked with 811 to mark any cables etc, and then they came out and really did an incredible job in both the front and back. No cables were cut in a yard full of cables and the work looks great! They seem very thorough in their work, and Lisa and April were a pleasure to deal with and were responsive. I had a good experience and honestly was pleasantly surprised.

I had this lawn care service since 2010. It started off as a nice decent service but later descended into a very aggravating situation. I called in January 2018 to get pine straw. The straw did not get applied until Feb 2018 and the job was a COMPLETE mess, for example pine straw was not contain within the borders of the flower beds, pine straw on the driveway, etcetera. I contacted the company (also sent photos) & was promised that it would be fixed on 3 different occasions. NOTHING, I have canceled services as of March 2018.

Very rude, lousy service. They charge a HUGE upfront fee and then under perform. Calling the office is a miserable experience.

I have been using Lawnsouth for some years now, but am about to drop them. At first, they did a pretty good job, but slowly the quality of their service slipped away. They are expensive and for this I am supposed to receive a wide range of services, including weeding, pruning, mowing, trimming, etc. They come once a week and never do anything but mow and go over the place with a string trimmer.

Very rarely, they will "prune" my shrubs and trees, but so far all they have succeeded in doing is hacking them up and leaving dead wood behind. They simply do not know how to prune and no one at Lawnsouth seems to be interested in teaching them. I have weeds everywhere. They completely ignore cat briar, wild grape and Chinese privet, all of which is taking over my lawn.

When I call to complain, they will come out and take a look and then send out a crew to appease me. Then they go right back to their lazy ways. Their team is rarely here for more than 15 minutes. I paid several hundred dollars for aeration, liming and over-seeding with long fescue. I was told they were a bit more expensive at this because they use only certified seed.

What I have is a lawn full of white clover, with maybe 10% fescue, so they lied. Also, they never change the height of the mowing deck of their mowers and so cut my fescue lawn too short for it to survive. Stay away from Lawnsouth.

It started out as a good experience then it quickly went down hill! I noticed the lawn service was not very thorough. The price was reasonable but the folks that service the lawn do not do a good job (even for a minimal lawn service (mowing and blowing). The office manager is very, very rude. The owner does not have time for anyone. I cancelled my service after giving this group ample time to remedy the situation. They do not care about their customers (even loyal long time customers are not treated good). I would not recommend them to anyone!

We have used Lawn South for almost 2 years for lawn maintenance services and spent a substantial amount of money with them. We recently had them do some sod work on our yard at a hefty price (over $6k). We relied on their estimate regarding the amount of sod they would need to purchase to complete the project and were told that they typically purchase about 10% over what they estimate to ensure that they can complete the project.

Unfortunately they lied to us and in fact purchased about 30% more sod than they needed to complete the project. When we alerted them near the completion of the project that they had purchased far more sod than necessary, they insisted that we pay in full for all of the extra sod and they initiated a screaming match with us (the customer) about it when we tried to discuss it.

I tried to discuss it further with the owner and he was incredibly rude and condescending, refusing to even discuss the fact that his project manager had seriously overestimate and miscalculated or own any responsibility for that error. I have never been treated so poorly by a service provider, especially one that we have patronized for almost 2 years and been a loyal customer to.

We would have been happy to find some middle ground compromise, but, unfortunately, their refusal to even discuss the situation with us has prevented us finding an amicable resolution. Please be wary of using Lawn South - they have not proven to be trustworthy.
