The staff is very helpful. They are masked. Check the hours before you go. They have changed due to Covid.

Against my better judgement after reading the reviews we went anyway. So my wife and I went on Thursday March 26th to get some stone for our front yard flower bed. The lady behind the counter was so busy stuffing a sandwich down her throat that we could not understand a word that was coming out of her mouth! She gave instructions on some "price list" and shewed us off. We'll spend our money elsewhere.

Disgusted. I tried to buy a pallet of flagstone but was denied because it was 30 minutes before closing. The entire staff, from the clerk to the forklift driver, gave me any excuse on how or why they couldn't make the sale possible so I would leave. They refused to work with me on making two trips because my truck couldn't handle the payload.

Then when I considered buying half of the pallet and make multiple trips *which would cost more -they shut and locked the door in front of my face. The staff was solely focused on leaving and closing the gates. Terrible customer service and this is after making multiple trips the last two days -buying and bagging over 1500 pounds of stone myself. When the owner / manager isn't onsite the service is sub par. Forklift driver doesn't center loads on axels. Bucket truck driver will not center loads if he's not instructed. Office staff is terrible, rude and unable to answer any product related questions.

Staff is rude and inattentive. We pulled up to match some gravel we had previously purchased in bags but needed bulk. The parking lot is confusing with no clear signage regarding where to park so I see some faded parking lines and use them. Immediately an employee asks me to move my car (but doesn't offer to help) as there's a different parking scheme than is implied by the painted stripes.

We park as requested and there's no visible staff on property to offer assistance. I step on a board on the ground and notice it has rusty nails sticking out of it so I grab it and take it inside the office to let them know it was laying out, nails up, and the girl at the counter cops a patronizing attitude "well I'll just take that to the dumpster then" and walks out the door with the board and disappears leaving us waiting at the counter.

When she eventually gets back I ask her what's the next step I need to take to get some River Rock (because none of the 3 women behind the counter have asked me if I need any help yet) and she asks me what kind of rock I want. I pointed to the bag of rock on my truck toolbox right outside the door and said I wanted to match what was in that bag.

Her tone changed to a sharp one stating "well, I'm going to have to SEE it first." So I explained again that it was right outside the door and, again, pointed to it right through the window. Again with the sharp and sarcastic tone "would you mind bringing it in to me?".Seriously? You can't walk 20ft to my truck to match rocks that you're going to have to show me outside anyway?

You want me to lug a 50 lb bag of rocks up the stairs and into the office so you don't have to walk 20 ft? The same 20ft you were going to have to walk anyway? What kind of place are you running here? How can you expect people to want to do business with lazy, rude and unavailable sales staff? I'm a builder by trade who also does landscaping on the side. Guess who will NEVER get my future business?

I went three times over the last couple of weeks and each time was problematic. Once would have been enough normally except I was buying additional material and didn't want to risk a mismatch. There is a singular lack of professionalism here. The staff are rude and unhelpful. Look out for weight errors. Sometimes they include the pallet weight, sometimes not.

Sometimes the pallet weighs 40lbs, sometimes 30. (All the same pallets). I was so irritated by the service I received here I actually called the Corporate office in Dallas and spoke to the President, Mark Rose. While he was receptive to what I had to say, I got the distinct impression he was totally unaware of how this place is operating. Maybe he should check out the reviews on Yelp.

Can't beat the price of rock at this place. And the ladies at the front desk were all very nice. I would say, don't expect someone to hold your hand here. It's best that you already know what you are looking for when you come to get something. Seem like they have a very high volume of customer, both commercial and residential.

Great stuff but grouchy forklift guy gave me an attitude when I asked for assistance in loading bagged soil. I wouldn't hire him, guess that's why he's stuck out in the weather. However, give him a shovel and keep him away from paying customers.

Visited once looking for moss rock and topsoil, and I did not find anything that met my expectations. No customer service, and left without a purchase. Don't waste your time. I later visited A&A Stone and Masonry on FM 1488, and they sealed the deal for any future business of mine. (See other review)

Horrid customer service. They deliver and that's great but I'd you have an issue good luck. The customer service is rude, snide, and unwilling to admit fault.
