MJ's Lawn Service

MJ's Lawn Service, LLC was officially founded in January, 2005. Our customer base continues to increase every year, and our service area now covers all of southern Chesapeake and Virginia Beach.

MJ's Lawn Service is owned and operated by Mike Toll and Jon McMasters. We started the business while classmates together at Salem High School, mowing lawns to earn extra money. We continued on a small scale throughout college, as we studied horticulture and business management at TCC and ODU. Afterwards, we decided to make the lawn service a full time commitment, and we haven't looked back since.

From our small start ten years ago mowing lawns only on the weekends, to a fully licensed and insured lawn care business with three maintenance crews, we have always kept the same approach of friendly, professional, and reliable service. We continue to provide lawn care for many of the same customers we've had since 1998. Even after more than ten years, we still look forward to every upcoming mowing season because we take pride in our work, and enjoy what we do.

In our spare time we sponsor MJ's Lawn Service softball, basketball, and kickball teams, that both we and our employees play for. Congratulations to Mike! He and Jenn tied the knot on February 28, 2009.
