Mustard Seed

We just moved out to this area and tried Mustard Seed for some flowers and a tree for our new house. We purchased a $195 Quickfire Hydrangea Tree and were told that this was the only shipment they were getting in this year of the tree. We were told the tree came with a year warranty for a replacement or refund. Two months went by and the tree never bloomed and looked the same way it did when we bought it - not healthy.

We sent pictures and were told we would have to pay more money to get a replacement tree because the tree we purchased was from last August and they cost more this year. So we were sold a tree that went through the winter in a garden shed. If we didn't go with that option, we would have to call our CC company and ask for the refund from them or get a different tree that equaled the $195.

Customer service was horrible and they were more worried about the $20 off we used on a purchase of $80 than replacing the tree. After rounds of communication with no tree replacement, we visited the store to get a refund from them. We will not be visiting this nursery again.

I can't express how much this place has improved over the years. Great help and knowledgeable people. The prices are great for the most part for plants, bulk dirt a good deal in the area.

Decent selection, but expensive. The exact same trees are $109 here but $49 at Lowe's, fleet farm, bachman's, roses $10-20 more for the same name brands elsewhere. Everything is marked up.

My family and I attended a event that was held for children. We were thrilled to interact with our new community until (I felt as though we were being racially profiled). My children and I was followed throughout the entire location, although I didn't even have a purse or a bag. Just my credit/phone for Apple Pay. The lines were long, however the cashier still came over to me while I was walking and she asked me, did I want to check out.

I was confused because should have been helping customers that was already in line. I Asked her why was I being followed, and she laughed. I was confused, because I can't even believe that a "cashier" could even afford to laugh.

Amazing selection of top quality product. The plants looked so good, difficult to choose from so many good options. Very helpful staff, regularly checking to see if assistance was needed. Gift selection was also whimsical and interesting, will need more time to check it all out.

Thank you to Wenda for helping me with my landscaping questions and suggesting the plants that would work best in the sunny flower beds on the west side of my house. There was another lovely lady that helped me in the gardens who's name escapes me. She has named all the hens and they respond to her when she calls them by name! Thank you!

I went here to get a bonsai tree for my dad's birthday which is near father's day. All sorts of cool things to add to your gift geared toward the holiday. I only assume they do it for mother's day and other holidays and occasions as well. Fantastic service with a knowledgeable, friendly staff. Was in and out with exactly what I wanted in 20 minutes.

This is a cute nursery. Very knowledgeable staff and just a fun place to walk around and look. So much better than the generic home depot or menards outdoor area. There are not many of these places left so they definitely care about your experience.

Mustard Seed did a rock wall for us last year and absolute nailed it. Fantastic service and Cory there is so helpful and knowledgeable he is a great resource!
