Why is waterfront property on the beach or lake so much higher that a regular home? The answer is simple. Water. Water is the key to life and it is the key to tranquility. The ability of liquid water to conform to any shape has intrigued man for millennia. Where ever water exists, a lake or river, there is always a rich abundance of life in the form of lush plants and flowers, birds and bees pollinating, a cycle of life as water bubbles over the polished rocks.Whether it is the melodic sound of waves at the beach or a babbling brook, people have been drawn to the calming sensation it offers since the beginning of time.
If you want a waterfall but are not sure about having the whole ecosystem that goes with a pond or are worried about small children falling in a pond, we recommend the Pondless Waterfalls, sometimes called a rock column fountain. These special Pondless Waterfall systems still give you the sound of a waterfall, rocks, gravel, and aquatic plants, but there are no fish or water deeper than an inch or two!
Are you struggling with keeping string algae under control in your pond or even worse can't get your pond water clear and clean? Maybe you have a very busy schedule and travel often or simply just want a professional pond maintenance service to take care of your water feature so you can just sit back and enjoy your pond, waterfalls and fish.

When Rick came out the first time he originally quoted a little over $4500 for about 12960 lbs of rock and gravel, that total includes labor. I gave a nonrefundable deposit of half but after he left, my husband and I decided the real reason why we called and what needed to be done was the fountain and skimmer box. He came back out and said to do the fountain and put a net in the skimmer box would cost close to that original quote but wasn't sure.

I was bothered by this but we moved into this house with a koi pond not knowing what to do. Long story, he put in about 14hrs of really cleaning out the basin. Using nothing but his tools, a rock he decided to bring, did a great job reshaping the fountain. The total came out to be about $4300 with only $158 going towards tools and skimmer net. But, for over $300 an hour for labor.not many professions make that much.

I ended up getting quotes from surrounding koi businesses and they were shocked and quoted a fraction of the cost. Unfortunately Rick, you did a great job but we feel you overcharged and will not be using your business again. Take care.

We choose not to contract with Nature Coast Aquascape for several reasons including pond cost, not listening to client needs, and pond design. We had Rick come out for an estimate and we gave him our budget. We were very surprised to see his estimate was 3K above our budget. On top of that he dismissed our ideas for the pond design and filter system.

In the estimate, we were quoted 6 thousand pounds of creek rock costing $1800. We were surprised since we had thousands of creek rock that we had purchased for another project on premises. We chose another pond contractor who was within our budget, instead of a single waterfall-two were installed, the filter system installed was one that we know works and keeps the pond clean, and used all the creek rocks we had on premises except for a few larger ones needed to complete the project.

We had a water feature put in our lanai 3 years ago. Friends said it was nice. They were too polite to say it was boring. We called Nature Coast and the guys came out and saw what we had. They said they could "fix" it. What they forgot to say was they are artists when it comes to water features. We have a waterfall in our lanai now that has the neighbors and us going "WOW".

They were professional, and on time, 100% honest. hard working and I thought very reasonable for what we wanted to done. We know have 3 waterfalls with a pump putting out 4,000 gallons of water per hour. Our before was more of a water dribble that made no sound because the water ran over the edge instead of falling. They exceeded our expectations.

We had an idea of what we wanted but they made a water feature miracle in our lanai. If you want an exciting water feature experience you have to give these folks a call. If you don't you will 3 years later.
