Don't do any type of business with this company it feels like they are floating in mid air the owner has no idea what he's doing the poor child needs help he gives you amateur designs either done by a high school kid or someone that took no time nor care to do them properly the reviews you will read on Yelp are true don't be fooled by his prices they might be cheap but it's better if you go with another contractor that'll charge more for actual quality work not from some child that has no idea what he is doing

I contacted Novas through Thumbtack app. They responded immediately and Sam out right away. We discussed plans the guys seemed excited to work with us and said the deck could be built within a month. He said he would send the plans by Monday. This was on a Thursday. I never heard from them again. They were texting me before they came out and when I texted 2 weeks later no response. Why waste both our time to look at a potential project and then virtually disappear. Strange and disappointing.

Worst Company ever. They are responsive until the time of signing the contract and collecting the deposit. The pool contract stated that certain dates needs to be met. Meeting dates on the contract on one thing - they could not even start the project on time despite me reminding on a weekly basis. Ended up cancelling the contract. These are school boys trying to play in the big leagues but have a lot of growing up to do.

I contacted many contractors for the best quote and the one that Novas provided was the best and they tried to complete the project with utmost care and I would definitely recommend his business.

After coming out to estimate the job, they indicated I get the estimate the next day. Two days later I contacted then about the estimate, they promised a response the next day. Two days later I contacted them again with no response. I tried again two days later and again no response. I've given up. they obviously are not interested in my business. They were very unprofessional.

We recently used NOVAS Construction for a large patio and walkway project. Unfortunately as soon as we signed the proposal the communication completely deteriorated - we had to follow up with multiple calls and emails at every step of the project- which ended up taking months. Once the project was finally complete we had some issues which we immediately reported (all of the polymer joint sand that was applied washed away causing a lot of haze and a sandy mess across the patio stones) but went completely ignored by the company.

We were also disappointed that the main POC who provided the estimate (Brian) never visited the site during construction or at project completion to quality check the work. Overall it was an unbelievably frustrating experience for a project that we paid a lot of money for - and we now have outstanding issues we still have to resolve.

I would like to start off by saying that the workers for this company are motivated and work hard. They worked on my parents backyard fixed everything up to perfection.

The staff are top notch - prompt and responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Excellent service and trustworthy - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Brian and his team were such a delight to work with from the beginning. They were so professional from the start and even helped us with suggestions to make our project better. I am so pleased with the work they have done for us and would love to hire them for future projects!

Just had a bluestone patio installed by Novas Landscaping and they absolutely deserve this five star rating. The estimate was detailed and the price reasonable for the level of work to be done. Brian Domingues, the owner, was very responsive to any questions and concerns we had and his crew was outstanding. Working 8-9 hours days in 90+ degree weather to complete the job in 5 days. The attention to detail was excellent, the crew cleaned up everything at the end of each day and we could not be happier with the result.

Brian and his team did an excellent job ripping up our old driveway and installing a beautiful new concrete one. He is a pro, and his prices are incredibly fair and reasonable.

We hired Novas to read out the old grass in front of our row house, and replace it with plants and mulch. It was a small job, but Brian made helpful suggestions and his guys worked quickly. Would definitely hire them again.

Brian responded immediately to arrange a site visit and then was very responsive in offering a proposal. After accepting his proposal, scheduling was very easy and his team arrived on time and completed the irrigation and regradng job the same day. His team was professional and they cleaned up completely afterwards. I cannot attest to the effectiveness until we have a heavy rain but I was impressed by Brian's knowledge and strategy for managing a wet back yard.

Brian responds in a timely manner, arrives on time, and was willing to do a small job. I do feel like I overpaid but his quote was typical for this area for a small landscaping job. Initially, he was very pleasant. I was slightly disappointed after the job as the landscape edging only went around half the garden and I was under the impression it would be around the whole thing.

I also asked for the garden to not look so “mulchy”, which I included in my description of adding plants. He wrote in the contract “demulch” garden and most of mulch was removed. I wish I would have had some clarity on that. I was using the “too mulchy” term in my description when I talked about the need to add plants. I was never told that majority of my mulch was going to be removed.

That was really bad communication on his part. About a week later, 2 out of the 3 hydrangea plants began to get brown spots on the leaves. I contacted him to be sure they were not getting a disease or burnt in the full sun. His responses were short and rude. When I brought up that I would mention this in the review his tone changed and he acted like I wanted him to replace the plants for no reason.

I only wanted to be sure the plants were fine as they went from healthy looking to diseased in 5 days. He sends a contract with a million disclaimers and then responds with a lot of attitude if you ask questions. All and all the plants are alive but frankly his communication skills need work and his customer service is not great after he gets his money.

If I have another job to do like the path I had installed, I’d use these folks again.

We just hired them due to their great quote, responsiveness and most of all cordial’ness ...if their work is as good as their professionalism, we will for sure be using them for the back too!

Novus was great! Had two swales installed. Brian arrived on-time when coming to create initial plan and quote. His crew arrived on-time when coming to do the work. The crew was top notch, professional and worked all day. They finished on day two. They walked my property to ensure I was completely satisfied. I would recommend this company.

Would absolutely recommend this guys if you’re looking for affordable and quality landscaping services in the nova area. I had them install a flagstone patio in my backyard and they completed quickly and neatly. The finished product was very high quality and was a great value for the cost.

I'm a very satisfied customer. I called these guys about a tree that's been giving me problems over the last year with falling limbs and branches. Turn's out the tree was dying and that was a sign. These guys did a great job! They arrived fully equipped, were very nice, and gave me a reasonable price. Highly recommended
