We had an ornamental tree die unexpectedly. Looked around at several garden centers and big box stores in town. Couldn't find a mature enough replacement. Looked up Oak Gardens Nursery and decided to stop by. Honestly wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. They have a beautiful selection of healthy trees, tons of perennial plants, shrubs, ornamentals, succulents, evergreens, and the most stunning hanging baskets/ drop in arrangements. These folks are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Had a great experience. I highly recommend Oak Gardens Nursery!

Ok. Not sure where even to start with Oak Gardens. Multiple bad experiences. First experience: Bought two trees last summer and paid extra for delivery. We were told at the time of purchase that they would place the trees into the holes that my wife and I dug. They couldn't tell us what day or time the delivery would be, so we asked that they call us prior to leaving.

All of a sudden, days after purchase, my son calls me while I'm at work saying that the trees were just delivered and dropped off in our front yard. One of the trees weighed around 600 pounds. We called them back asking for their assistance moving the trees, since they told us they would place them. They were very rude and said it was our problem now.

Second experience: One of the two trees died a couple of months after planting. Went back and dealt with some woman who was unbelievable RUDE. Said "I just don't have time to deal with this" and called my wife "honey" in a very rude manner numerous times. Even though we found the receipt, Oak Gardens would not give us our money back, but only store credit.

Like we would want to shop there again. There are many other options that I would recommend way before spending a dime at this place. We seriously haven't been treated this rudely by a local business ever before. DON'T GO.;

Love shopping for any plants or trees here! Used their landscaping service to put some aspens in our back yard last year and bought a few flower baskets early this year and they turned out beautiful. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

Oh good Lord, where do I begin? All I'm saying is a little kindness goes a long way. No one apparently told the owners this. I just left there in tears! Ranee was so rude and condescending. Told me it would take weeks to find a receipt on a dead tree I bought and she was too busy. Threw a shoe box of receipts at me and said I was more than welcome to look through and she walked off.

I asked if she could be a little nicer and she said 'oh sweetie, I'm being nothing but nice'. Then she walked away. I found the receipt in probably 30 seconds. I found the other owner and asked if he could help because she was in a mean mood. Then I started crying. He wrote me out a credit and didn't say another word. How can they stay in business with that kind of customer service?

This place is closed! They need to update there hours online as this place is in a rural area. It was a waste of time and gas. Looking for a grow light and a 4 tier plant stand. Home Depot we go guess were not supporting the local community first!

Oak Gardens is a paradise for plants. The plants here seem so happy and healthy and ready to root. The main shop has lovely furnishings.

My new favorite nursery in the area. I went there after our small town nursery ran out of stock and told me they got their trees from Oak Gardens. Even though I slid into the lot 10 minutes before closing after a 70 mile drive they were nice and helpful as could be. Their stock is far supplier to the box stores in that the root systems are fully developed and the trees are acclimated to Montana.

The two people I spoke with were obviously very knowledable about trees in our local environment. Pricing was really reasonable. Actually better than reasonable. A lady was checking out after me with flowers and they looked great as well.
