Plan West For nearly 50 years, Plan West has helped people and municipalities achieve goals in land planning, site design, and landscape architectural design. We base our philosophy and passion on helping clients create financially successful projects and long-term community assets. We ask a lot of questions: What's reasonable? What's ambitious? Why? And more importantly-why not? Thoughtfulness, knowledge, tenacity, and passion are what nearly a half century of experience brings to our clients. Land Use Planning at Plan West creates opportunities for development with flexibility that allows projects to respond to changing market conditions.
Services
The Plan West philosophy and passion are based on helping our clients create financially successful projects while creating great places and neighborhoods. Following is a list of representative projects and the clients we serve.
For nearly 50 years, Plan West has been helping people achieve their land planning and land development goals. Celebrating six years in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe adds to our energy and convenience to the Front Range communities. We continue to grow our staff as we build on our commitment and passion to help our clients create financially successful land development projects.
Plan West was selected in 2012 to introduce a variety of mixed density housing to the SOLTERRA Community. Plan West prepared alternative site designs mixing single-family detached, attached, semi-attached, and townhomes for the development of several new neighborhoods. To emphasize the pedestrian-oriented community, we worked closely with Brookfield Residential, the civil engineer, and the City of Lakewood on the layout. In addition, we custom designed new public street sections, green belts, and an alley with detached walks, tree lawn, and side-loaded garages.
Plan West started the land use planning and design process for Compark in 1993. We continue to work with the original owners with ongoing planning and design services. The 600-acre site in Douglas County and the Town of Parker continues to grow into a destination, mixed-use business campus. Flexible zoning in Douglas County and the Town of Parker have been the backbone for the long-term success of the mixed-use devilment.
