Rettmann Lawn Service

I've been with Rettmann for over 9 years for lawn mowing/maintenance and snow removal. They have always been very responsive to any question or issue I may have. Even came out to flawlessly repair a small ding in my garage door after a plow mishap. I highly recommend their services.

I am very happy with Rettmann lawn and snow removal services. They even found someone to help me with garden weeding of my extensive perennial beds and he worked very hard and did a fantastic job. Their menu of services is comprehensive, their work quality and reliability is top notch and their communication and customer service can't be beat. I am a very happy Bloomington customer with a fairly large and complex lawn and garden situation.

As I get older I can't do it all anymore but I'm still interested in being surrounded by a beautiful environment. Rettmann services ensure that I can retain pride in my home.

My wife and I havee been using Rhettmann's Lawn Servive for the last two years. They do our mowing and some lawn maintainance, as well as our snow removal in the winter. We would highly recommend them. They are prompt and professional with a fine attention to detail (the walkway to our house has a tricky turn in it, but it was always mowed perfectly and shoveled to the edges when snow fell). Also, throughout the year we are kept advised via smartphone of the various scheduled events. We have tried other vendors in the past, but Rhettmann's outshines them all. Thank you, Rhettmann Lawn! Rettmann recently came out and removed edging, small tree stumps, and then tilled in an old neglected garden for me. They did an absolutely excellent job. They cleaned it up even more than I expected, removed all debris. They really took pride in their work and raked it out so that it was level and even with the surrounding lawn, taking care in preparing it knowing I was going to lay down seed.

Even after tilling, they raked out small rocks and random roots which I didn't even expect. While I was taking a look, they gave me some advice about laying down grass seed and the like. I could not have been more pleased. It saved me a ton of backbreaking work and they got it done in such a short time, it was clear they knew what they were doing. Carol (owner and customer service) is incredibly responsive and prompt. It is so nice to deal with a local, professional, friendly company that really cares about the quality of their work and cares about their clients.

I started with their snow removal then in the spring went to their lawn service. They go out of their way to please. They even shovel a path from my garage to my bird feeder. I've been very pleased with the services Rettmann provides! They offer more than lawn and snow removal, they'll do fertilizing, weed control, gutter cleaning, aerating, and spring and fall clean up. Very professional and communication is fantastic!

Retmann Lawn Service is very professional and personal. What a rare combination! They provided organic fertilizers as well as weed control and always gave us advanced notice of treatment. We just had Rettman tear out the nightmare landscape from previous owner in the back we never understood. It was like they( previous owner) bought the last plants from a nursery; and found unused bricks in a dump. It was a fountain in there the bunnies used to fall into and ran and extension cord under a retaining wall. Mike Holmes Make it Right would have loved that. Rettman ( Leon) worked with us to revise quotes to give us the best look for the price.

They ripped it out; trimmed pine trees, cut one down, ripped out fountain and evergreen spreaders that were pushing retaining wall out; removed windburned arborvitaes, created a new rock edge section, added pavers and removed gravel but reused it in plant beds. They were on time, checking all the way to see what my daughter wanted and made creative suggestions about the look.

We had them lay down fabric and mulch to create a bug free haven and wide open space. It was worth every penny $ 4400 and they cleaned up like they were never there. Thank you Carol, Leon and crew for a sanctuary back there now!

We live in Burnsville. Leon and Carol Rettman's crew took care of our lawns, hilly front and hilly back for at least five years and then we moved. It was tricky property to mow and they did great work. There was a gaffe and they were quick to take responsibility and repair the minor damage incurred by a worker unfamiliar with the terrain. We miss them and their personalized service. A lot.

We switched from another lawn service to Rettmann and couldn't be happier. They do an excellent job and the customer service from the office is responsive and friendly. This fall they aerated our lawn and did fall cleanup. The yard was free of leaves and we appreciated that they finely mulched some of the leaves as nutrients for the lawn.

Asked for a quote for trimming and lawn mowing. A representative came and gave an astronomical quote and no return call. Guess they are not interested.
