Had to stop as one of their trucks and trailer didn't even slow down merging on to San Thomas expressway. The guy seemed in a hurry. Can't drive. How will they treat your yard

These guys took care of our yard for a few years. You can do much better! Some of the issues I encountered were them cutting shrubs down to the ground that we wanted to grow. They thought they were weeds. After repeatedly telling the supervisor (Kent) to let them grow, they continued to do it. Somehow I finally got them to understand not to cut the shrubs.

All the while, they were letting the weeds grow! Wouldn't you think that somebody in the gardening business would know the difference? Also, while discussing the care of the yard, Kent told how I should prune the big Camellia in the front of our house. Strange, I thought I was hiring a gardener to take care of the yard. The biggest issue which led to me finally firing them was that they continually broke sprinkler heads with the mower.

That it is self-explanatory. I had to complain multiple times about them busting off the sprinklers below the ground. I still have sprinklers that are leaning over due to them hitting them with the mower. I'll have to pay my new gardener (who rocks, BTW!) to fix them. Don't be fooled if you see Roco's Gardening trucks at the Kirkwood Plaza.

Although Roco's takes care of that shopping center's beautiful landscaping, that is NOT the crew they send to your house! Kent is very nice. He is truly a likeable guy, but the crews are not good. Also, his co-worker Kevin (?) was a total jerk to me on the phone one day when Kent was out of the office and we were having them put down some mulch and in the process, they broke a drip irrigation line on a Friday before a heat wave and then left.

I called Roco's to have them come fix it and I was initially blown off by this guy saying it was late and they were busy. I had to complain to him about the fact that they broke it and they eventually did fix it later that day.

What no reviews? Hum probably because they have no happy customers. Well let me be the first! We had them do a full backyard landscaping job back in the early 2000's. Years later we had to have our water feature completely redone. Not only was it ugly it leaked all through the entire stream, and pond itself. The sprinkler values didn't last 5 years and at a additional cost of 4 grand we had a real plumber replace theses valves.

He could not fix them because some of the valves were too old. What they had done is use ones they removed from other customers and used them on our yard! Dishonest is an understatement! We also removed roses and a large tree that never bloomed. Cheap, crappy, second rate plants when we had specifically asked for and paid for specific brand name plants! I could go on but I think you get the picture. Wish Yelp had been around then.
