Managing Member Kevin Denley started out working as a greens keeper at a local Golf Club rapidly being promoted to Assistant Superintendent then Superintendent. It was at the golf course he met Julio Villanueva and they began planning to open Seneca Gardens. They felt they needed to gain more experience.

Julio stayed on at the golf course while Kevin joined a nationally recognized Irrigation consulting firm. After leaving the consulting firm Kevin joined a local lawn care provider as a field and sales manager and recruited Julio into the company from the golf course. Together they learned as much as they felt they needed and struck out on their own.
