Southern Exposure Landscape Management, Inc. began serving Fort Collins and the Northern Colorado region in 2000 and has more than 25 years of experience in the green industry. But even more than that, owner Dan Sanger has had an interest in plants his whole life. He began learning about plants as a child, when his father, a biologist, would point out various types of vegetation and teach him their botanical names.

Dan initially decided to major in biology in college, but switched to horticulture and knew immediately that was what he was meant to do.

We live here, too. Because we live where you live, coupled with our landscaping experience, we know which landscape elements will work best in Fort Collins and other Northern Colorado climates along the front range. We are committed to creating sustainable landscapes using tried and true methods, as well as incorporating the latest design techniques.
The Company is quick to respond to problems and make any changes or improvements that are warranted. The Company stands by its product. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would happily work with them in the future. The Front Range landscape project began with the half acre, weed covered lot surrounding The Code's newly constructed home and a set of landscape plans from their architect. Thank you so much, Jared, for understanding where we wanted to go on this project and making it happen.
I met Mr. and Mrs. Loew through a custom home builder in Greeley, Colorado. The builder had provided the Loews with a landscape design and he asked Southern Exposure Landscape Management, Inc. to bid the project. After presenting the Loews with a proposal, it was apparent that their goals and objectives were not met with the original builder-provided design.
The Front Range landscape project began with the half acre, weed covered lot surrounding The Code's newly constructed home and a set of landscape plans from their architect. I had two landscape companies bid the job. The first company said the architect's plant selection and sprinkler design were dubious, but they bid the plans as presented.

I saw the good reviews and pictures, and I wanted to use them for sure. When Christian knew they weren't going to be able to get me in when I wanted, instead of trying to hard sell me to change my date, he went above and beyond. He told me when they would be able to, and also suggested 2 companies that could do the work sooner. Amazing customer service! Thank you!

Scheduled with them two weeks ago for sprinkler blowout. Even called this morning to confirm; had to leave a message. What did they do? Called at 2:45pm, 15 minutes before they were to be here and cancelled. Right before the severe cold hits. Horrible customer service! Will never use them again for anything!

I was driving down the road in Greeley and a truck with the Southern Exposure logo almost hit me by switching lanes, which could've caused a car accident. The drivers need to be more safe, especially with the logo of the company all over the truck! The license plates were ALE-947, I don't know who the guy is but he needs to check his mirrors more often and be cautious of other drivers around him. NOT good especially when he's driving a company truck!

Called and made an appointment for them to come blow out our sprinklers, after us waiting from 10am-12pm they never showed up and we couldn't reach anyone in the office. Unprofessional.

This company does not stand behind its work. I paid for a new drip line to a single plant to be installed. This required about 15 minutes and 10 inches of pvc tubing. As I remember it, cost $70. The line failed in the first week. The Southern Exposure technician returned and said it had been fixed. Shortly thereafter, I left town for a month. On my return, I found that the plant had received no water.

I asked Southern Exposure about their failure to get it right. There response was, "Well, we did the job" They refused to refund my payment, or any part of it. I didn't pay for technician visits. I paid to establish irrigation to a plant. They have done good work for me in the past, but their refusal to even consider a refund for failing to do this job right shows they are not interested in my good will.
