Signal Mountain Nursery is a family-owned and operated garden center. Located in beautiful Signal Mountain, Tennessee, we have proudly served the Chattanooga area for 70 years. Our emphasis is on customer service and high quality plant material. With the majority of our plants grown locally, we offer top quality plants and a knowledgeable staff to assist you with all your gardening and plant questions.
The design of your landscape is just as important as the architecture of your home. Signal Mountain Nursery will work with you to develop a vision that blends your aesthetic taste with your available space and budget. Our landscape designers bring imagination, originality and practicality to your project.
We're looking for people with positive attitudes, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to hustle in a fast paced work environment! We love what we do and we're looking for people who are as excited about our mission as we are. Prior garden center or farm experience isn't required. What we DO require is a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to hustle. Not to scare you, but we want to be completely transparent with our expectations - most jobs at Signal Mountain Nursery are not strictly desk jobs.

Wonderful diverse assortment of quality plants and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They grow the majority of their own plants. They have a fantastic assortment of pots and pretty much anything you would need to do anything related to plants. They also have an assortment of pillows, house decor type stuff. They also sell nice weed or metal outdoor furniture.
From decor to potting soil to trees to annual flowers to succulents for your home (huge assortment), you are likely to find what you seek or spend a great afternoon among fabulous plants.

Fantastic. This is one of the coolest nurseries of all time and the people who work there are super nice and helpful. Of course plants are the main deal.and you'll find more than you ever wanted here and THEN some. Everything is meticulously maintained. I love the fact that they allow the barn swallows to freely nest wherever they like. Always a fantastic experience, Signal Mountain Nursery is simply.the best!

Every staff member here is so kind! The plants are all healthy and pest free (always be sure to check anyways), love the affordable prices here too! I'm about an hour away but it's worth the drive over every single time. I love that it's so giant and almost never packed by a crowd of people thank you for being here!
