Styer Landscaping

Hired Slyer for a landscape project; got delayed because the designer had surgery. Eventually got the job done, but every single one of the transplanted shrubs died the first week. I took one of the dead ones out and found that the root ball was basically non-existent. The prior year my contractor (NOT A LANDSCAPE SPECIALIST )transplanted a few bushes for me in the middle of summer and ALL have survived.

Why couldn't Styer's have done as good a job as that? Also, as per the quote, we were supposed to have a final inspection- I presumed that would include me so that I could get my questions answered and find out how to take care of my new landscapping. If a final inspection occured it happened without me. I had emailed the designer several times about my concerns ( 2 days after the crew "removed" the sod, I was seeing weeds coming back up-sod remover did not go deep enough) also there were multiple areas around the entire house that had so little mulch that I could see the ground underneath; the crew came back and added more mulch so now I have at least 1-2 inches in most places around the house and in one area near the front there looks to be almost 3 inches of mulch. I regret my decision to go with Styer and am a little jealous that other folks have had a much better outcome.

Styer Landscaping used their experience to recommend what we needed, and their artistry created a beautiful addition to our garden. Their hard-working and considerate crew did a great job. These guys are professionals.
