Sunburst Gardens, Inc was established in 1982 by Thomas Gross. It started as a small landscape and nursery business in Owosso, Michigan, which has grown to be well known in the Flint and Metro-Detroit areas and also services all of Michigan. Sunburst Gardens features a retail nursery and a landscape division. Our landscape division manages projects from the design phase to the landscape management phase.

It is our goal to continue to expand and become a stronger, better company for the future. The Sunburst Garden's team has over 50 years combined experience in the landscape industry.

Every single morning employees from this "business" drive by our house, on purpose, very early in the morning to speed by and rev his engine. He harrasses our neighbors and the cops even caught him doing it. And pulled him over. He received a warning but still continues to do it. Why would anyone do business with them I'm not sure. You might be harrasssed if you do. 12/10 would never use this place.

I could give you 10 other business that would do the job 10x better. If I could give negative stars I would. But I can't so one will do. If you need a lawn job done I would call NO MOW PROBLEMS LAWN CARE. They're amazing and won't harass you. NOT TO MENTION SAID EMPLOYEE LIKES TO THREATEN YOU SAYING HE KNOWS WHERE YOU LIVE AND WILL CUT YOUR THROAT IN YOUR SLEEP.

Called this business in August to schedule a fall lawn treatment and was told someone would be out in a week for a quote. A month goes by and I called again to see if maybe someone had forgotten? I was told the crew was "up north". November came without hearing anything more from them until the other day when I saw them treating the next door neighbors yard.

I have no clue as to the quality of their work, but would anyone want to hire a company that shows so little respect and lack of professional business conduct? It would have been fine if I was told at the beginning they were too busy. It was a giant waste of time and unfortunately an option for 0 stars doesn't seem to exist.

Unbelievably unprofessional. The owner is a initiated a physical confrontation when faced with an inquiry about damage to property as a result of his negligence. Please do not give this organization your business.

The idea of the owner allowing his professional company and workers to drink on the clock /jo and also allow non licensed driver to drive his company tricks is sickening anf I have seen this myself as well as know some of the people who are allowed to do this

Tom has severely disappointed me. He has been servicing the sprinkler system at our home since he installed it in 1998, opening and closing it every year without an issue. Taking and storing the lake pump over the winter each year. Only in the last few years has it been like pulling teeth to even get a phone call from Tom. He never answers the phone and never returns a phone call.

Each year it takes longer and longer for him to open our sprinkler system often not until June. This year I called 8 times in the month of May and never heard anything. Finally June 9th I got someone to state they were going to deliver my pump to my home only to find out that when I got home the didn't install it, they left the pump on my driveway and that was it.

What horrible customer service Sunburst provides unfortunately I will not be using them again ever for any landscaping needs. Furthermore, after finally speaking with Tom directly his only response was maybe this isn't working out for me. At what point does a customer whose home you have been servicing for years become an inconvenience? All I asked for was a phone call to let me know the status and I never received one. Tom has lost a customer and any further referrals for the family members I have in Owosso.
