In 1995, Tehandon Tree Service began when Bernardo Tehandon left 11 years of tree and shrub nursery employment to offer his skills and experience to local tree nurseries, and proved to be a successful business venture. Soon Mr. Tehandon was sought by landscape firms to assist with tree transplanting projects and landscape installation and maintenance projects.
The core of our business is residential landscape maintenance. We strive to tailor services to our client's needs by working with our clients to achieve the desired look and feel in their outdoor environment. Regular maintenance of a garden or landscape ensures attractive outdoor spaces, while routine plant care protects your outdoor assets like trees and shrubs.
Although our primary services are the removal of vines and invasive species, we may perform additional work on wooded areas as requested by the client. Heavy vines can cause significant damage to mature trees by blocking photosynthesis and smothering the tree with their weight. Younger trees are similarly at risk, and may be additionally strangled by girdling.
As residential areas grow and land becomes increasingly developed, effective storm water management on individual properties becomes increasingly important. Rain water isn't able to penetrate impervious surfaces such as roads, driveways, and concrete patios, causing it to run off in large volumes along the path of least resistance - often into your yard, garden, or basement.
