Terrafirma removed two large trees from my property. They disposed of the wood, and then graded and seeded the areas. Each worker was friendly, professional, and efficient. I recommend them highly! Service: Retaining walls

I had a deck resurfaced with composite decking and a privacy fence built around my hot tub. The father/son team did a wonderful job, were very professional and the deck is beautiful. Their attention to detail was amazing, and they showed up on time and cleaned up very well. I would heartily recommend this team for future projects.

Dave came to our. house to provide a quote for removing and replacing our old concrete patio.

I made the appointment with Dave by phone, and when he insisted that my husband be present for the in-person consultation, I brushed aside my concerns. But then, during the consultation, all of Dave's attention and questions were directed toward my husband, and every question.

My 111 yr old water main decided to burst and flood my basement, and my water had to be shut off. The Utilities worker who responded recommended Terra Firma, and despite the short notice, they were able to replace my piping quickly and efficiently the next morning. They were nothing but friendly, and kept me informed as they worked. They helped keep my emergency situation less stressful than it could've been. I would recommend these guys to anyone. I'll be keeping them in mind for any future work I may need, hopefully under better circumstances next time!

Terrafirma did an incredible job on our patio. The crew worked fast, their workmanship was excellent. They responded to all of our questions and concerns efficiently and professionally. When a small oversight occurred, the company owner personally came to the site, came up with a solution (which may actually be an improvement of the original plan), had the crew come back the very next day to resolve the situation, and covered the costs. We interviewed several companies in the area and are so very grateful we went with Terrafirma!

We had our deck resurfaced and screen around it replaced this year, and Mark and Rick did an excellent job! They were very professional and completed the job in the estimated time frame. Excellent workmanship and left everything cleaned up too. I would recommend them for anyone needing their deck redone!

They came up with a design and product recommendations in a timely manner, had fantastic communication throughout the entire project, were every responsive to our questions and comments, and we could not be happier with the final result. We will definitely be using them again for future projects!

Dave quoted me a price to replace a rotten timber about 3 ft long. He based his quote on a picture and estimated it would take a half a day for two men and it would involve resetting two layers of bricks above and below the timber. The actual time spent on the job took only 15 minutes and the bricks did not require resetting. I called a requested a refund of a portion of the job. He was not willing to do so. I would not recommend Terrafirma for any repair work on your patio. They simply charge too much for the amount of work involved.

Almost 12 years ago Terrafirma did my initial landscaping and installed a sprinkler system. They were professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I can recommend them without reservation.

Most people do not stay in their homes for 19 years to see the results of the landscape planning and installation from Terrafirma. I had landscaping and sprinkler installation 19 years ago and you will see now from the attachments that a tree that they planted is far too large to be close to my home. I called Dave Silverman, the president, on June 5th to see if they would be willing to stand behind their work and remove it.

He said he would swing by my house and take a look. I didn't hear anything. I called again and they said they needed receipts etc. I found them all and sent them. I called again on June 13th and was made to feel that this was my fault for not realizing that they were planting too close to my house and that I would have a problem 19 years later. I am neither a landscape architect nor a horticulturalist that is why I hired them and paid good money for what I thought was a reputable company.

I assumed when hiring Terrafirma that landscape professionals are trained in proper plant selection and understand factors including; anticipating the plant's growth. On one of the faxes I see where I am questioning the height (that is attached to this review too) and remember I was told that they know what they are doing and would make sure that all trees, shrubs/landscaping is appropriate. Yes, that is what I thought I paid for? Dave did come out to my house and what he thinks is fair is that I pay $450. their cost to have it removed for their mistake.

He said I should have known in a year or two that they planted too close to my house. My fault for not doing the research that they were suppose to have done. The two stars are for the parts of my landscape that were done correctly and their receptionist Rebecca.

We've worked with numerous landscaping companies in the past. Terrafirma is the best. Their work exceed our expectations.

If anyone is interested in having work done by Terrafirma Landscaping they might like to get my reference to attest to the kind of work that they do, as well as how constructive - not to be confused with misleading or deceptive - contracts they they can write. I am amazed to see how the pavers at my home continue to self destruct.
