I interviewed 3 landscaping companies near me in Durham, NC and Paul's quote was the best of the bunch. His designs were much better than Bright Leaf Landscaping and his price was better than Agape Landscaping. He showed up on time and was the most seasoned and professional representative. My wife and I are very happy with the results. We are now having them handle our lawn care needs too. I highly recommend them.

I've been using Leisure Landscapes for years now and was talking with a neighbor about them and realized that they're the only lawn care business in Durham that I've hired where you will actually see the owner of the business come out and help his team make your lawn look amazing. I highly recommend them. Be sure to ask about their hardscaping services too as they can install sprinkler systems, fences, decks, arbors, lighting and more.

Thanks for making my yard look amazing again! I've been trying to keep my yard looking good but just couldn't keep up with it all. I tried another Durham landscaper first, and they were awful! They left cigarette butts in the grass! Why? Leisure Landscapes was the exact opposite. They come out every time they say they will, and they keep my yard looking awesome. Much appreciate!

My neighbor uses Leisure Landscapes to keep their lawn looking amazing so I asked him why he chose them and he straight out said because they're the "BEST DURHAM LANDSCAPERS!" and sure enough, he was right. They've been maintaining my yard for the last 6 months and have finally earned a coveted 5 star review. Thanks for keeping my yard awesome looking!

Positives: -Paul came up with a great plan and our backyard looks very nice in comparison to the starting state -The sprinkler system was updated for more modern features and any sprinkler issues were corrected Negatives: -Not enough communication around delays and people stopping by -Our overall goal was to reduce flooding in the backyard. While most of this has been accomplished, in order to accommodate placing an updated gate the ground was lowered in the backyard.
This has caused a giant mud pit that has killed the sod placed in the area. The drain installed is no longer as effective because the water pooling shifted to a different area. Our child has even fallen due to it being very slick in the area. I have requested assistance on two occasions and heard nothing on the second request. The first response was adding vegetation and mulch would help.
But with the volume of water this would not assist enough. It seems like the same amount of help doesn't happen after you've signed the check. Either ourselves or someone else will need to correct, which is frustrating considering the amount we paid for the projects. -Had to clean up many large debris items ourselves after cleanup was to be provided

I've now on my 3rd landscaper in 5 years and am incredibly pleased with the work Leisure Landscapes does. They come consistently and are very professional. The last landscapers were rude and smoked all the time, but not Leisure Landscapes. These guys really do care about how my yard looks and I'm so pleased I found them. If you need a Durham landscaping company, call these guys. They're awesome!

I got to speak with the owner, Paul Martin, and on a gut level immediately felt he was the right person to go with. They've now been my landscapers in Durham, NC for a month and I'm blown away with how great my lawn looks again.

We can't say enough great things about Paul Martin and Leisure Landscapes! We hired them to build a brick wall and pergola around our patio, and Paul came up with a gorgeous design that included flowering vines and landscaping lighting that took the idea to a new level once executed. We loved the results and have had people in our neighborhood stop and ask us who did the work (the highest compliment!) We liked working with Paul and his team so much that we contracted them for our landscaping, and they have amazed us with the seasonal flower changes and general excellent work.
We just recently had them extend the lighting around to the front of our house as well, and we are thrilled with how our home looks. If you want quality work and a true creative flair, you cannot do better than these guys!

This is our 3rd or 4th time using Leisure Landscapes. Paul Martin is a truly talented landscape designer and their team does incredible work. The first time we used them we had retaining walls, patio, modifications to a deck, flower beds and plantings, etc. done. We then later used them for all our lawn maintenance while we were out of town for 6 months. Now, we are using them to do the landscaping for our new house as well. Great work!
