The name Cool Ponds was granted to us by our customers. When we first began installing water features for our landscape customers, our customers gushed, Wow. That is a cool pond. Renaming our landscape business to Cool Ponds was an obvious choice. Although we're renowned today all over Indiana for our beautiful, natural ponds and pond-free waterfalls, our landscaping and pond services range much farther than just pond installation. We never lost touch with landscaping. In fact -- plantings and outdoor living spaces are perfect complements to ponds!.

Steve and Staci Wicker have been in the landscape business since 1991, and in the early 2000s, they built their first pond and were instantly hooked. They began installing ponds for their landscape customers but had nowhere to send their customers for pond supplies or maintenance services. In 2004, they purchased the current property on Hanna as the supply store, installation showcase, and installation hub. After seeing customers repeatedly peer into the main display pond and say, "That is a cool pond, " the name Cool Ponds seemed fitting.
