This foliage accent is a succulent perennial belonging to the Agave family. It is made up of rosettes of sword shaped leaves with lemon, cream and lime green striped. Garden designers call it an 'architectural' plant, as it has stand out sculptural foliage. It makes a hardy and spectacular pot plant with lively foliage and a interesting colored leaf margin.

Sun or shade, good drainage. Rapid grower, stands some pruning and sharing. Salt resistant. As a hedge it is still in great demand despite a current leaning toward the informal design patterns. It will always be a good background screen. Ideal native tree for shade and open spaces. The Live Oak is deciduous to semi-evergreen, pefers a light sandy loam, well drained, sunny location and is able to withstand cold temperatures well.
