What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver mulch and topsoil to Chester, Stevensville, Grasonville, Queenstown, Centreville, Queen Anne, and Wye Mills. Minimum order requirements apply for deliveries.
What are your current seasonal hours?
Our nursery operates Monday-Saturday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Special holiday hours apply during peak seasons.

Fabulous nursery-huge selection of trees and plants, prices as good as big box stores and better prices than the smaller nurseries. Andrew helped us, he was very knowledgeable and super helpful. We'll definitely be back.

I contacted Greenwood to redo my whole front garden. Theresa came to my house for the original consultation. She seemed rushed and made it clear that they were very busy. When I received the proposal there were no drawings of how the plants would be arranged. Just a list of plants and cost. When I ask for the drawing I was told they don't provide that until after I agree to the work. They also told me they would not warrant their plants or service in my neighborhood. When I questioned them about the drawings and the warranty, or lack thereof, I was told to "consider the proposal withdrawn"!

Buyer beware. Purchased 3 shrubs approx 45 days ago. Immediately planted and maintained. Honestly noticed when planting the one shrub it looked a little stressed than the others but thought give it a try as Im not new to gardening and figured it would work out until it didnt. No worries right. Dig up the plant as well as my receipt and head over to Greenwood. Met sales guy and was immediate shown a replacement and ready to throw it in the truck until the guy says we need to settle up as I find out that they have no warranty. WOW.
I understand your small and local and you dont have the advantage of the big box stores who by the way have a 1YEAR guarantee (Think before you buy). Also just check but there are a few other options close buy that give you a warranty thats long enough to insure the plant is not diseased. As far as customer service goes.12yds of mulch per year and some plants here and there and the polite but condescending help was still short sited enough to lose a customer. Lesson learned.
