Cape Shore Gardens has an extensive selection of unique trees and shrubs, including some exotic varieties, that are unmatched in the Cape May area. Their garden center manager, JR Morera, is friendly and very knowledgeable, helping to make the best and most durable shrub choices.

The maintenance manager, Brion Conaway, who installed the new trees, is very professional, friendly, and diligent, with a unique set of landscaping skills for this area. We highly recommend Cape Shore Gardens for your next landscaping or garden project.

Lauren did our whole landscaping design and installation. It looks absolutely beautiful. We gave her some creative flexibility and that was a wise decision. We had one issue with water pressure getting to a far bed and they came right out and took care of it. Thanks for your great work.

3 years ago I bought a stick of a tree. A 5ft Kwanzaa cherry tree. Today it is the most beautiful healthy tree. I recommend buying trees from them. I couldn't be happier

Good luck getting them to return a call. We stopped in last summer to see Lauren for maintenance and design work. She said to stop back after season. We live here year round and employ over 200 locals so we're always around. We stopped by there often, called weekly office and cell phone, emailed weekly for over 6 months including owners cell phone. Finally got an email, sorry we are not accepting new business. If we ran our businesses like that we would be out of business.

Paul was out watering the plants and we got to pet the cats! A beautiful location with wonderful plants. We were here in early August (end of season) and the plant stock was well taken care of. End of season healthy plants is a sign of high quality care. Excited to see the stock next spring!

If you are at risk, beware the workers do not wear masks, outside or inside. And a worker inside was joking with a patron about wearing masks. Otherwise this is normally where I shop for plants. They have great plants and are knowledgeable. But I'll be looking for another place until things blow over (or until they comment here that they have changed their policy) Most visitors were wearing masks.

I visited for the first time after calling around to many garden centers for a specific plant. They didn't have the plant but they had the seeds. Lauren was very helpful on the phone. I didn't meet her when I went the next day, but the staff was very helpful and polite. Cape Shore Gardens a magical little place with lots of charm and character, and some great plants. I picked up some heirloom tomatoes andI'm looking forward to going back this weekend, even though it's farther away than 4 other garden centers.

A teeny bit of heaven right here on Rt 9 in Mayville. Fantastic plants and ancient specimens. Huge koi pond. Shady grounds, smells divine. AND you can shop with your dog! Warning: expensive, but worth it

Always helpful, actually will do anything to ensure you, as well as your plants and flowers, are happy. We have a beach cottage in Stone Harbor and go every Memorial Day weekend for our summer (and year round) plantings. I cannot say enough about the staff and the atmosphere.

Incredible garden center! Packed full of fantastic plants, and a nice, peaceful walk around. It is nice to go to a garden center that stocks an array of natives. I picked up two plants at great prices, today. An added bonus is the pleasant and knowledgeable staff. They have great attitudes, and don't mind answering any questions or giving advice. This is the way a garden center should feel, not artificial or manufactured, but alive and full of life.
