Spinieo installed a paver patio for us about 10 years ago and I reached out to them last June to discuss pricing to repair some settlement issues and for an expansion project on our existing walkway. They canceled the appointment the morning of our meeting, told me I could reschedule for later in the week, and then never returned my calls. I have followed up numerous times and they will not even return my calls and texts. Very disappointed in their lack of customer service.

Spinieo and "Frank" provided some of the worst customer experience i have ever received. Very unprofessional, would not recommend wasting your time. Had to take off from work for them to come out and do a quote, which is fair. However, I guess my job was not important enough, Frank refused to respond to several inquires and have still yet to get a response. Stefanie Maus, the bookeeper, was very nice and helpful setting up the original appointment.

As director of Engineering I have been using Spinieo Contractor at several of our condominium buildings for exterior repairs such as; brick wall demolition and rebuilding the wall with cinder block, brick pointing, sealing, cleaning and repairs as needed to correct water leakage issues into the units. These project were completed by both swing scaffold and lift trucks. Spinieo Contractor has also completed water proofing repairs to the concrete structural slab by removing and replacing the finished concrete after installing the new water proof coating. Working with Chris Spinieo and his team of employees has made my job managing construction projects much easier.

I contacted Spinieo in reference to a drainage issue on my property that I was hoping to hire them for. They set me up with Frank, one of their project managers, who came out and provided an estimate for the work. At that point, I was intending to hire their company to do the work; however, Frank was very difficult to reach. I had sent emails, voicemails, and even texts that went completely ignored over the course of a month.

Due to the expense of the project, I felt unsteady hiring a company that could not even respond to simple inquiries on planned projects, so I went with another company. I am very glad that I did, as it turned out that Spinieo's proposed solution was likely not going to be a good long term solution. I spent more going with another company, but am very happy that I did, as their work was much more involved than Spinieo wanted to be.

I gave the 2 rating, rather than 1, in giving them the benefit of the doubt that perhaps they do good work, and just aren't good communicators. I don't know about you, but I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a project and be unable to speak with the project manager.
