Services
Landscape Design
Our landscape design service creates tailored outdoor spaces that enhance property aesthetics and functionality. Using Ed Rhines forestry expertise and Brandon Schalks horticultural knowledge, we integrate plants, hardscapes, and structural elements to reflect client preferences. Each design balances visual appeal with long-term value, ensuring landscapes thrive for decades.
Hardscapes
We specialize in hardscape installations including patios, retaining walls, fire pits, and timber frame structures. These elements add durability and architectural interest to outdoor spaces while complementing natural plantings. Our focus on quality materials ensures lasting functionality for residential and commercial properties.
Specimen Plants
Our specimen plant service features mature trees and unique shrubs that provide immediate visual impact. Sourced from trusted northern nurseries, these plants are selected for their proven growth patterns and resilience. This approach allows clients to envision long-term landscape outcomes without waiting decades for maturity.
Maintenance-Free Landscapes
We design maintenance-free landscapes that prioritize ease of care without sacrificing beauty. By strategically spacing larger plants and selecting hardy varieties, we reduce upkeep requirements while maintaining aesthetic appeal. This service caters to clients seeking sustainable, time-efficient outdoor spaces.
Plantings
Our planting services combine proven plant varieties with rare selections to create dynamic, seasonally diverse landscapes. We emphasize proper spacing and northern-grown stock to ensure plant health and growth consistency. Each installation aims to transform exteriors, patios, and pool areas into inviting, investment-worthy spaces.

Wow I was just basically told to use one of my other estimates because we use quality material and it's expensive and you probably won't be able to afford it! Moving on!

I have worked with Rhine and Daughters Landscaping for several years. Ed has a gift to read your mind and make the landscaping look like nature grew it there. Brandon compliments Ed's work by building hardscapes. Our new fence is the perfect finishing touch to our lawn.
