Abrahamson Nursery was founded in Scandia in 1928 as a grower of nursery stock. We have since expanded to include landscape design and installation crews. In 1982 we opened our Stillwater location and in 2010 opened our St. Croix Falls location. All three locations have fully stocked garden centers and a full range of plant and hard-good materials.

Ever since Dan and Sue Sandager purchased the Nursery in 1974, we have been passionate about great landscape design and quality installation. This part of our business has changed and grown dramatically over the years, but the one constant is our desire to please each client. Today, our designers and installers specialize in both residential and commercial landscaping and can tackle any challenge that arises in the landscape. All of our talented landscape designers have many years of experience both in the design office and the field.

Nursery and Greenhouse

Abrahamson Nurseries opened in 1928 as a greenhouse production operation from our Scandia location. Through the years we evolved into growing and selling our own trees, shrubs and perennials. The current owners, Dan and Sue Sandager, purchased the company in 1974, and expanded the nursery operation.

Garden Center

Abrahamson Nurseries has retail locations in Scandia, Stillwater, and St. Croix Falls, each with a fully stocked and staffed garden center. All three garden centers offer a full line of plant material, hardscape goods, lawn and garden products, garden decorations and accessories, and garden themed gifts.
